-Elton John, Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting.
Another day, another drink. That was the mantra JT found himself living by, with each weekend he found himself in the bar. The same bar he went to when nothing new was going on in his life.
Aveline and Benny were heading the search for the killer and Derek had been attending an Extryte corporate meeting, leaving JT all alone for the time being. The Marshal hanged his hat on the rack in the bar and his pistols on the table in front of him, to either side of a brown bottle of Crown Royal on the table. The bar was as dead as his current activity, and so he waited for someone interesting to hopefully walk through that front door.
((Open. This is a boredom post.))

"Well that's good, because I'm not one for cheating. Unless it's in a certain poker game where I may have hid a one up my sleeve."
-
Edited by Stitch: 11/2/2017 11:45:18 PM"Oh? You cheated? I lost first because you cheated, didn't I?" Star seemed to be more amused than actually mad. "You wanted me out of that suit that badly?...To be honest everyone there probably did."
-
"Well, after the steakhouse I wanted to see what kind of meat I would be licking later down the line."
-
"Gah!" Star blushed and crossed her arms, trying to hide a grin. "Bunch of pervs is what you guys were..."
-
"Well you like me for it, don't lie."
-
"Well...y-yeah. I'm a closet pervert too." She giggled and leaned on Nat a little. "You're awesome."
-
"Damn right," Nat responded, embracing Star in a full on hug.
-
Star hugged the taller woman back happily. "Confident much?"
-
"Some say arrogant, I say fun."
-
"Well, you are fun. Loads of fun really." She gave a quick peck on the neck. "I'm glad I met you."
-
"Yeah, I'm glad you did too."
-
"Most would say I'm glad I met you too, but either works." Star laughed letting go of Nat with a smile. "Hey, you've been talking to those umm...what're they called? The people Bella is a part of."
-
"Yeah, you saw?"
-
"Yeah. I told Bella I'd help in our first meeting actually. I think that was before we met if I'm remembering right."
-
"Oh, you work for her too? She mentioned you were a knight or something, though I thought that was an honourary thing after the poker night."
-
"Work for her? Maybe not. I'd like to think we're friends and equal." Star shrugged.
-
"Oh. So you two hang out often then?"
-
"We've hung out a good bit, yeah. She almost bled out when we sparred earlier. She doesn't know when to stop, I guess."
-
"Sounds like her. I take it she uses a sword and your guns won?"
-
"Nope. She almost knocked me out when we both used a sword so she made me switch to two daggers while she used a sword and shield. I threw a dagger into her side. It was honestly the only good hit I got. She practically threw me like a ragdoll the rest of the time."
-
"Damn. You should try using a staff like me, they're great at taking on swords. Especially if you have a knife on one end."
-
Edited by Stitch: 11/3/2017 12:17:42 AM"You mean like a polearm? Eh. Maybe. I don't really do melee usually and if I do I just use this fighting style that utilizes guns in close quarters. Projectiles are my thing. Without them I'm...meh. Most matches I've lost are due to superior melee combatants getting close while my ranged options were limited."
-
"Then why not try using a mix? I've seen people do great with a gunsword or whatever it's called."
-
"I dunno. Only had those in one tourney because it was based off some show with weird kids. I think one guy had a drinking problem and something about bad luck? I dunno. That was fun though."

"The hell? Is my dad on TV now?"
+1 to Cth
