"Maybe. Oh, wonder if Nat and Bella would like it..."
Star set down her drink to think clearly.

"Oh yeah. He's a HARDCORE religious dude, thinks making eyes to get free drinks is the same as selling your body."

Edited by Stitch: 11/1/2017 2:55:53 AM"Well then. Remind me not to hangout with him. I'm just glad you're not somehow mad at me." Star leaned on Nat a little in affection.
-
"I trust you aren't a cheating type. Dad, he's probably skeptical because I'm his kid and all."
-
She gave a peck on the cheek. "I'd never cheat on a woman like you."
-
"Likewise," Nat said, leaning her head on Star's.
-
"Want to go on a more normal date tonight? The drunk fun with that group was nice, but I like a somewhat normal relationship too."
-
"I agree completely. Maybe every once in a while that whole poker thing can happen, but some normalcy is good. And hell yeah I'm down for a date, any ideas?"
-
"Hmm. Movie? Walk in a park at night?"
-
"Both of those sounds lovely, but that walk would be great."
-
"Walk it is, sugar." Star gave another peck on the cheek before standing up.

Natalie joined the standing woman and threw her boots on, taking an extra moment to lace it up. After throwing on a light jacket and grabbing her purse, Nat was out the door with her.
-
Star tried to hold Nat's hand as they walked towards the fields outside the Dojo. "Did I ever tell you my real first name is Sophia?"
-
"Really?" Nat inquired. She had no idea that Star wasn't using her true name, although she really should have suspected it.
-
"Yeah, but I prefer Star ever since I began using it as my nickname. Sophia is a bit too...boring for me."
-
"Star sounds more spontaneous anyways. It's fitting."
-
"Thanks, Naty. Do you mind being called Naty?"
-
"Not really, no. It's kinda cute."
-
They'd reach the open fields, oddly covered in flowers which heavily contrasted the warzone that is the Dojo. "I heared a little girl planted all these flowers. Rather nice, isn't it? Some positivity to try and offset all the destruction?"
-
"Yeah... We need more kids like that in the world, ones who don't like to just go day by day in the shit that Dojoville throws."
-
"Too many edgelords if you ask me." Star chuckled. "Always liked the innocence and optimism of children."
-
"I agree. I remember me and my sister would spend all day drawing when we were little."
-
"You have a sister? I have a younger sister. She's still doing professional sports."
-
"Oh, does she play the same ones you do?" Nat asked. Either she was dodging the question asked to her or just forgot to respond.
-
"She plays what I used to play. I kinda retired despite my young age..." Star got a little gloom for a second before cheering up. "She constantly looked up to me and compared herself."
-
"Well, some healthy competition is good yeah?"
