Natalie joined the standing woman and threw her boots on, taking an extra moment to lace it up. After throwing on a light jacket and grabbing her purse, Nat was out the door with her.

Star tried to hold Nat's hand as they walked towards the fields outside the Dojo. "Did I ever tell you my real first name is Sophia?"
-
"Really?" Nat inquired. She had no idea that Star wasn't using her true name, although she really should have suspected it.
-
"Yeah, but I prefer Star ever since I began using it as my nickname. Sophia is a bit too...boring for me."
-
"Star sounds more spontaneous anyways. It's fitting."
-
"Thanks, Naty. Do you mind being called Naty?"
-
"Not really, no. It's kinda cute."

They'd reach the open fields, oddly covered in flowers which heavily contrasted the warzone that is the Dojo. "I heared a little girl planted all these flowers. Rather nice, isn't it? Some positivity to try and offset all the destruction?"
-
"Yeah... We need more kids like that in the world, ones who don't like to just go day by day in the shit that Dojoville throws."
-
"Too many edgelords if you ask me." Star chuckled. "Always liked the innocence and optimism of children."
-
"I agree. I remember me and my sister would spend all day drawing when we were little."
-
"You have a sister? I have a younger sister. She's still doing professional sports."
-
"Oh, does she play the same ones you do?" Nat asked. Either she was dodging the question asked to her or just forgot to respond.
-
"She plays what I used to play. I kinda retired despite my young age..." Star got a little gloom for a second before cheering up. "She constantly looked up to me and compared herself."
-
"Well, some healthy competition is good yeah?"
-
Star sighed. "Not much competition. She's advancing far faster than I ever did. Nothing is ever enough for her."
-
"You sound sad about that?"
-
"She has a problem, Naty. Self esteem issues. I worry sometimes."
-
"Damn. Maybe she just needs to feel validated at some point? I had the same issues when I was younger."
-
"You'd think the constant 1st place awards would do that. Hey, maybe if she has an off-season you can meet her."
-
"Yeah, I'd like that."
-
"She's kinda shy despite being on a stage constantly. She might be a little quiet around you at first. So, how's your sister?"
-
"Fûck..." Nat mumbled underneath her breath, stopping in the middle of the field. "Before I bring her up, You've gotta understand that Alex lived with my father until recently. And she was usually looked after by his best friend and ex girlfriend."
-
"Umm...okay? Why? What happened?" Star stopped walking when she noticed Nat had.
-
"Alex is a little... -blam!-ed up. She's fine and all, but she doesn't understand how to act around people - She's loud, abrasive, brash, and a total whóre. Not in the hot bedroom way but more the 'Next to a school church' way."
-
"Like, she'd openly have sex with anyone almost everywhere?"
