So I am a fan of Destiny & D2 like a lot of us here, sometimes though the devs throw us a curveball and give us things like the Slot machine simulator 2017... So what are the problems with the game YOU want fixed so you can enjoy it more.

Throwing us a curveball is about as big an understatement as saying that football might be america's biggest sports enterprise. They flat out tell us to expect one thing and then hand us the exact opposite of what they claimed they would. Destiny 2 was supposed to be an improvement of Destiny based on all of the recorded data of Y3 Destiny, right? Then why does it detract from that very progress made at nearly every opportunity given? That's what's wrong with the game. The Developers.

I want rewarded for the time I put in. The raid is honestly a joke. There was no reason that the raid weapons and armor shouldnt have had raid specific perks. Everyone, damn near, has skyburners oath. A gun everyone can get that has a perk that you would expect on a raid gun or at least a perk similar. They wanted pvp balance and took it, no surprise, a step to far. Why werent there raid specific perks on guns? Tommy two thumbs will get a 300 engram from his clan completing the raid. So no unfairness there. And if Tom has no desire to complete the raid, he has no use for raid gear that has raid specific perks. (I.e. Boots that have increased sprint speed when holding the psionic charge.) Im at a loss. That and the Iron Banana debacle has made me reconsider future purchases of Destiny or any other game that has been hyped up to be great until after I read reviews from real people and not paid off journalists. The lore was another big issue for me. When someone says that a previous game was "comic book X" i expect that the lore, at least, is not scrapped without any explanation for the sake of balance. Example: Osiris, the Exiled, Sunsinger in a constant state of radiance, both dead and alive is now a dawnblade. Speaking of I want a further explanation as to how dawnblade came to be and why my warlock suddenly forgot that, like a pheonix, they can rise from the ashes of their previous death and burn the world with a gift of the traveller. I know byf and myelin made videos on the new subclasses but that was a while ago and dont feel like rewatching them. Which brings me to my next point. People wanted lore in game, no one had a problem with finding dead ghosts or scanning objects. What they had a problem with was going to a third party site and reading the grimoire and no where to reread the scanables they found. Bungie put lore tabs on items, gear and guns but still missed the mark and changed something that wasnt an issue. Their execition was the issue and they did it again. A lore codex isnt that hard to make. And youtube channels like Myelin and Byf are getting increased views and that is wonderful, but even they admitted that they fear it is because of the lack of accessability to the lore. And thats sad on all fronts. Do I think it will get better? Sure. But it will take a long time and after playing RoI where the game was in a pretty good state, imo, playing Destiny 2 was just a big disappointment to me. I got over double primaries for pve, though I am still not a fan, its the way they execute their game that has destroyed my motivation to keep playing. It has potential. But so did Destiny in its vanilla form. I love Destiny and its universe, I want to see the game get better. But sometimes, like a self rez warlock, you have to die to get better. Guardian out.
