I already posted this on the Xbox One forums but no one has responded so hopefully one of you can help. Here’s the post I made-
Hi,
I started game sharing with my friend a while back and he recently purchased Call of Duty WW2 in august. Now, one day before release, i tried to launch the game and it said that i either canceled my pre order or that I did not buy it. I talked to him and he said to try and uninstall it so I did and now it does not show up in my games and apps. I checked the store and when I tried looking at the game it said that I had to buy it again. How do I fix this? Thanks in advance.

Is the friend trustworthy?

Sounds like you got played pal

The only thing I can think of is somehow the home console got messed up. Check to make sure your box is still set as his home console. FYI I also game share and my friend purchased the game and it works fine for me.

You just got jacked mofo

Your home console is still set as your friend's console right? You have to keep it that way.

Sneaky bastard changed his home console! Lol get got.

You sign in as him on your Xbox and set your console to his home console. He signs in as you on his Xbox and sets his console to your home Xbox

Sign in on his profile and install the game from the store that way, can't help if that still doesn't let you launch it

Another desperate bump

Sounds like it should be there somewhere, never had an issue. You checked the the ready to install games? Reset the console if it doesn't work and possible delete the cache. Sign in as him to see if it changed anything. If nothing works then wait, could be issues from the call of duty game itself or the windows store.
