It’s definitely the truth, as usual with most truths it’s not what you want to hear.
Me and my clan had to solo them in order to get tokens, was a bit annoying so unless it was a daily bounty we skipped them all together.
Now if they could have said;
“We changed Lost Sectors because you idiots can’t game with out exploiting shit.”
I can promise you some salty snowflake would be upset about that truth as well.

You were always allowed to do a lost sector with a fire team. The loot just wasn’t shared, I mean don’t get me wrong, shooting an explosive for tokens is LAZY AS -blam!- game design, so I mean it shouldn’t have happened in the first place.

Unfortunately this makes me not want to farm anymore then I have to now. It’s a joke, farming for tokens. I want one item, the new monarchy cape. Am I ever gonna get it? No. Now they are forcing me to play with a fire team. This is another sad attempt at trying to add “gaming time”. It’s a joke. Do you know how hard it is to get people on to just do milestones? Now it’s gonna be even harder to convince them to get on to help me farm PEs and Lost Sectors!

Nobody is forcing u to play with a team. The issue was that if you were exploring with a fire-team and did the Sector, only the guardian who actually destroyed the asset got a token. Now, the tokens are granted upon opening the Boss chest. Whether you solo it or party up, is entirely your choice. They simply removed the penalty for exploring with your friends..
