Somewhere in The Dojo's woods
Mion
The girl had appreciated nature like this. It was nice and peaceful, the sound of birds singing their song and rabbits hopping around. It also smelled nice here, a result from the flowers growing on the side of the beaten path. Mion hummed a merry little tune, as she walked.
Mion had experienced changes that were drastic from her original appearance. She had turned 7 to 12, giving her a bit of a more mature appearance, though she was still a child. Her golden blonde hair had turned a serene snow white, though her eyes still were a sapphire blue.
Her clothing was white as well, complimenting her hair a bit. An elegantly designed white dress, along with similarly coloured shoes and socks were seen on her. A handbag was strapped to her side, brown in colour with flowers designed onto it. A white lily was pinned onto her hair, which complimented her appearance as wall.
Seeing that she was nearing her destination, Mion began to jog towards the exit, an cheerful look on her face. As she got to the end, she was greeted with a wonderful sight.
In front of her was a huge lake, its surface reflecting the celestial body above. A river roared in the distance, as its rapid waters ran down into the body of water. A huge clearing was around her, the place looking mystical in nature.
Running up to the edge of the lake, she pumped her feet free from her shoes and socks, setting them down nearby. Then after putting down her handbag as well, she walked into the lake until the water was up to her hips. Aside from the river, it was silent here, with nobody around.
It was a perfect place for her to do anything uninterrupted.
Putting her hands to her chest, she began to hum, although more louder than before. Closing her eyes and focusing on her voice only, her humming eventually would turn into singing, her mellifluous tone reverberating throughout the area.

For once in her life, Alpha was actually and genuinely moved. Nobody around here sang just to sing unless they were mentally unbalanced. The Dojo was a place of strife, forever condemned to rot in the hells of eternal conflict. Such a voice like Mion's was rare. So, she cried. Alpha cried like she had never cried before, reminded of a time before the chaos and the fighting and the struggles. It was like Mion's singing rubbed away the rust Alpha had accumulated on her soul, the shell she had constructed and rarely ever let up in front of others. She was caught off-guard. Slung around her shoulders was a simple dufflebag, and she held a small notepad with which to write something. This was forgotten, crunched up in her hand in the midst of her anguish. Even as her cries would reverberate throughout the woods, she never stopped. Her body wracked with sobs and occupied with releasing the sorrow built up within her through the years. Idris. Her mother. Alpha could remember the lullabies of yesteryear sung to her in her youth, calming her thoughts of monsters in her closet. Only, she had locked that away. The girl had become so damaged that in order to survive she had closed off that part of her mind, hoping never to have to face a reminder of home again. However, in the wake of Mion's song, Alpha felt her determination to hold onto such cold and harsh perceptions slipping away. Again, she was a small 14 year old teen, curled up on the ground after facing ruthless experimentation and torture, crying for her mother. Only, just as it had happened then, her mother did not answer. The only response was silence.
-
Upon hearing the sobbing from an unknown source, Mion became startled, pausing her singing for a bit. She started to whip her head around, trying to see where exactly those cries were from. She paid little mind to the fact that someone else was here other than her, only focusing on concern for this crying person. "H-hello? Who's there?" Mion called out. She clutched her wrist, eyes scanning the area around her.
-
Alpha stopped, suddenly feeling vulnerable as she was heard. It took her a few times before she could speak, in her oddly modulated voice "Me." She said. The girl was a ways away, having come to do something with that book of hers.
-
She now managed to pinpoint the source of the voice, turning to that direction and gazing at it for a few seconds. She would then walk over to it, looking at the person who spoke. "Hey... Are you okay? Why are you here?"
-
She would meet a goat-person. Of course, if Mion had ever been told about this person, she would know Alpha. However, Irina had told Alpha a lot about Mion. Enough for Alpha to determine Mion's identity. "I"m fine. Just....writing some thoughts." She said, her shell, her defenses, her walls coming back up. The girl gave Mion a smile, though it was utterly unconvincing.
-
"You don't seem fine..." Mion went over to Alpha's side, sitting next to her. She had a concerned look on her face. "I can tell whether someone looks troubled or has problems. So are you okay?" That, and the fact that Alpha cried earlier had her totally convinced that Alpha needed some comfort.
-
"I just......the singing reminded me of something." She said, then decided to take a stab "You're....Mion, right? I know your mom, Irina."
-
Mion was a bit surprised that someone else knew about her, much less her mother. "Wait... you know me? And my mother? How do you know her?"
-
"Because, we're close." Alpha explained. "We go way back....and I care for her. She's probably one of the few people in this world I love." She said, not holding back since she didn't think Mion would blab about it
-
"Oh... I see." Then... there was silence. In all honesty, Mion didn't know what to say next, an awkward tension beginning to fill the air.
-
Alpha got up, dusting off her pants. "Well....I'll go now since this got....weird"
-
"You have beautiful voice young lady"she says the woman had very gentle sounding voice as came from her left. The voice belonged to that of a faerie that was flying in the air wearing a light blue tunic and light brown knee high boots. She had long platinum blonde hair, emerald green eyes, light tan skin and a pair large clear wings on her back currently moving keeping hovering above the ground currently. Attached to her belt is a beautiful carved harp.
-
Mion had interrupted her singing in surprise, turning to the source of the voice. Upon being complimented, she blushed a bit, looking to the side slightly. "Uh... thanks, I guess..." She sheepishly murmured. She would then realise that someone had caught her singing, much less find her here. As a result, her blush grew in colour. "W-wait, when did you get here? How did you find this place?"
BTW, Mion's a 12 y/o child. Not a woman, if you bothered to read my post.
-
thats how melody talks and i did too read it :p
"Im a faerie i live in the woods as i am a creature that lives in woods. My name is melody."she says the faerie looked fairly young about in her early twenties at most and she had a very gentle demeanor about her.
-
"A... Faerie?" Mion questioned, tilting her head a bit. She walked around Melody, looking at every detail of her body. She found her a bit strange, really.
-
she had stopped hoovering with her wings for a second so she could see them. Her wings were clear and transparent looking like they were very delicate to touch as they had a five foot span when outstretched as they looked like dragonfly wings that had a purplish pink hue to them in the light. "Am i the first faerie you seen before?" asks melody
-
"Well... yes. I've actually never seen someone like you before. Just... where did you come from? How old are you?" Mion was curious. She had a lot of questions for the faerie.
-
"From a village in forest but its warded so humans can't really see it andIm twenty three years old. Im still only a youngster after all. What other questions do you have for me?"says melody
-
Mion placed a finger up to her chin as she thought about her next question. "...how long have you been around?"
-
"Im only 23 im still young "says melody
-
"...no, I mean how long your kind has been around. Where all of you came from and such."
-
"Well we been around a long time before this planet we came from another planet just like this one but that was way before i was born."says melody
-
"Another... planet? What was it called? How did all of you come here in the first place?"
-
"It was called earth and one our faeries kinda stumbled upon when summoning a portal. Been here since then."says melody

Mion would gradually hear another girl's voice join her in singing. After a few seconds Panta appeared from where Mion had first entered, a small smile on her young face as she walked into the clearing. On her was just a black skirt that went down to her knees and a white tank top with sandals on her feet. The slightly older girl, at 14 almost 15, had a high singing voice like that of a bird in spring. She seemed more than happy to have someone to sing along with.
I'm tired so sorry for shortness, lack of detail, or anything.
