“Hahaha! Totally relatable!”
Three cheers for evident sarcasm and forced laughter.
“And your mom?”
Part of him didn’t want to know.

"Constantly depressed and a slave to the same man that forces me to murder by the millions! Daughter like mother!" She kept laughing with a smile. "Please, kill me! End this suffering!"
-
“Hahaha! I can no longer laugh!” His fake as hell grin faded away quickly, face turning into one that showed concern. Crap, he thought. He could ask if she was alright? No, that’s stupid, of course she isn’t. What’s a guy supposed to say? “Umm... well, I’m always here...? And I promise I won’t force you to kill millions or be constantly depressed?”
-
The girl fell to her knees crying all of a sudden into her hands. "I can't take this! Please! Help me! I can't take it...I can't take it...."
-
Ainsley went silent for a moment, before kneeling down in front of Traci. It took all of his focus to get the constant electrical impulses in his body to chill the hell out, before he gently laid a hand on Traci’s shoulder. No static shocks. “Shh,” He murmured in a somewhat comforting tone. “I’ll do what I can to help, whenever I can.”
-
Traci kept crying into her hands, falling over onto her side. "I'm such a failure...I'm a murderer! I killed them all!....They killed my mother..."
-
“H-hey. The past is the past–c’mon, Traci. You can’t do anything about it now.” He paused for a moment, for continuing hesitantly. “You have to move on at some point. We all do.”
-
"She died yesterday in front of me after getting tortured in several ways for hours on end...." Traci looked up with anger in her eyes. "Don't tell me to move on."
-
What the hell, he thought to himself. This was a predicament. “Do you want revenge? On the person who tortured and killed her?” He asked Traci seriously.
-
"I wish....Sadly, I doubt that day will ever come." Traci sighed, being completely serious. "I'd do anything to get revenge."
-
“Why wouldn’t the day ever come?” Ainsley asked. “Traci, I’d do anything to help you, really.”
-
"I'm his slave. I have no ability to fight back. He made a clear example with my mother...it's over." Traci began to tear up. "I'm such a horrible daughter."
-
“How the hell are you a horrible daughter!? Looks to me like it....” He raised his eyebrow microscopically. Was he making assumptions? “The man who did this. Is he your father?”
-
"N-No....My father did send ne out on numerous suicide missions though despite how young I was..." Traci sniffled a little.
-
Ainsley nodded. “Either way, you’re not a horrible daughter. We’ll find a way to kill that man, alright?”
-
"A-Alright...." Traci suddenly hugged Ainsley. "Thank you. You're so kind."
-
Due to Ainsley’s focus on controlling his electricity generation, there was no shock this time. “Gah–yeah, yeah....” He murmured.
-
"I'm sorry about your electric problem. Must make it hard to get laid." She patted his back with a weak giggle.
-
“Believe me, electricity isn’t the only difficult part about trying to get laid,” Ainsley replied, wondering how the hell this topic came up again.
-
"Oh? Have a hard time coming last?" Traci laughed harder. "S-Sorry, trying to cheer up."
-
“No–what? I’ve never even done it before.” Ainsley looked like he was getting a tad bit baffled.
-
"Ooooh! A virgin, hmm?" Traci giggled some more. "It's okay, sweetie. You've got a cute look going...kinda. Maybe someday a girl will find you somewhat appealing."
-
“I don’t particularly care about that....” He replied with a laugh. “I’ve only got one interest, and that’s in punching people.”
-
Traci smirked and placed her hands on her hips. "That's what a virgin would say. Anyway, here." Traci formed a small dagger out of steel and tossed it to him.
-
He caught it by its handle, examining it. “A knife?” He gently dragged the tip across his left thumb, making a small cut. “I still prefer punching people.”
-
"May help in the future. It's my way of saying thank you." Traci shrugged.
