Let's face it. The Guardians of the Universe are @$$holes. Not to mention they literally caused a bunch of bad things to happen in the DC universe. For example, they deliberately weakened the entire Green Lantern Corps by putting Parallax in the Green Power Core, a decision that came back to haunt them(?) when said entity possessed Hal Jordan. Not to mention they created an army to destroy the Corps after they deemed them as flawed.
With that said, I think the Corps would be more effective if they were led by Justice League members such as Superman or Batman. Plus the League has a better track record of protecting the universe than the Guardians by a long shot. Also, I think that they should move the central power battery to Earth, preferably in the Fortress of Solitude or the BatCave.
So, what do you think? Would the Justice League do a better job at leading the Green Lantern Corps? Explain your reasoning in the comments.

No. The Justice League was formed to protect Earth as its first priority. The Green Lantern Corps are responsible for the Universe first and foremost. I don't think they'd be able to prioritize.

The green lanter corps covers areas way further than the JLA usually monitors- plus what about cases in which the justice league makes mistakes? It’s always good to have the lantern corps there to bail them out. Plus I don’t think the league really have the mandate or expertise tbh. Or even the time? How many teams is Bruce Wayne actually leading? Could he (a human) run an intergalactic organisation? I think the guardians get written pretty shittily sometimes but overall they’re alright.

Would they be able to?
