An unconventional pursuit of knowledge
Gerald knew, up there, somewhere in space the beast, the Fenrir was drifting. It's appetite as insatiable as any dog. There was already a planet missing in the sky and there would be many more missing if he just sat by idle.
Alas he knew his chances at forming a large group willing to help his cause was unlikely. He was, for his own reasons, considered untrustworthy giving his nature as a time correcting serial killer. He couldn't blame people for thinking that way. Gerald had his way of correcting things even if some would disagree with his methods.
Perhaps that is why he was preparing to trek the mountain side in search of a cave containing what he believed would be the answer to his delema. A way to finally finish the mistake he made so many eternities ago.

“Master Gerald, are you meditating?” Asked a thick Japanese accented voice. The tall, red armoured Samurai known as Tesuto, the figure who tested all of those who would enter the dojo, approached the man, looking up into the sky as well. “The stars are relaxing, are they not?”
-
At the moment, Gerald was running his hands through time, looking for something warmer than his tailcoat. What he came up with was a thick fur parka which he would figure to do the trick. "Well, they are relaxing to look at but not the best thing to visit. By the way, do you know how many planets are in this solar system?" Her inquired while he was fiddling with a small pocket watch.
-
“There are eight to my knowledge.” Tesuto told the man. “We are very similar to earths own solar system. Why do you ask?”
-
"Keep that number in mind next time you have a telescope." He seemed to have finished adjusting the pocket watch he was mettleing with and put it away. Maybe the gate keeping samurai would be useful he thought to himself. "I'm heading over to a... Well I guess you can call it a friends place not too far south from here. A clever one that one is."
-
Tesuto rested his palms on the pommels of his blades, standing composed as he spoke. “Are you in need of an escort?” The Samurai asked Gerald.
-
"Probably a good idea. He does have a tendency to attract some of the strangest things I've seen. But really, I won't keep you from your job if your busy" At the moment, he had a map in his hands with a path he must have drawn out marking the side of the mountains just south of the dojo. There were a number of other things written down on the side that for the moment, seemed not to be on the topic at hand.
-
“Not particularly. The dojo has had less traffic as of late for...well...reasons I don’t think we need to go over. I will assist.”
-
"Well alright" He said as they headed out. The distance seemed a bit longer than it truly was due to the steep incline of the path Gerald had taken, seeming only to get colder as they went on. As the reached the point there was something unusual. What appeared to be a man in a clean grey suit and tie was just standing there out in the cold next to a solid ninety degree angle of sheet rock. He seemed completely out of place as he tried to light a cigarette with a clearly used up lighter. "Fine weather eh boys?" He said looking like he should be on the side of a city street. Gerald headed toward the man. Clearly he decided this individual was in the right direction.
Sorry for late reply on vacation
“I’m sorry...who are you?” Tesuto asked the suited man. He gripped his pommel of his blades, as the samurai had a sense of uneasiness around this new figure.

Edited by ALIAS-F4LS: 11/9/2017 11:49:29 PM"So, I have to ask, why a business man all the way out here?" Gerald asked sounding somewhat amused at the oddity. The strange man stuck on finger inside of his eye socket and another in his mouth. The face stretched unnaturally before it soon popped off. "Ah shoot, you humans and your crazy clothes. I can never get the pants right can I?" Behind the mask were dozens of eyes and a grotesque mouth speaking in the most human voice one would never expect from such a creature. "Well, personally I wouldn't go hiking in a suit and tie" Gerald joked, seeming to disregard the strange creatures appearance.
It's All Good
“My god, what are you?!” Tesuto suddenly yelled, drawing his sword slightly out of his sheath.
inb4 mindflayer
The thing held it hands up in a panic. "no,no I'm unarmed. I'm uhh.. uhh.." Before it could finish its sentence Gerald cut in. "I call them other worlders, though they do have another name that is tricky to pronounce..." The Other Worlder looked at Gerald and nodded with an ounce of nervousness slightly noticeable in its eyes.
