Jokes on you, the writer has a character available thanks to the lack of action on the merc squad!
"Hey!" A man rounded the corner of shelves, coming directly into eyeview of the guardian. He wasn't tall in any sense of the word, but of average height. Standing at 5 feet and something inches, the man had long black hair.
His eyes were a dark brown, bordering at the edge of black and he had various weaponry on himself. A sword on his back, underneath which was what looked like a shotgun.
"Shut up." The man spoke with a British accent, and a tone of bother was heard as well. Clearly, he was annoyed at her volume.

Edited by Splashback77: 11/8/2017 9:29:58 PMKali sighed, staring down at the paper. She picked up the pencil with her left hand, her dominant hand, and beginning to draw something on the paper.
-
Satisfied with the silence, the man calmly walked over and pulled out a chair, sitting down across from the woman. He picked a book up off of the table, fake reading it, while in reality he watched her work.
-
She was just drawing. The strokes of her pencil were well placed and careful.
-
He leaned forward slightly, trying to take a look at what she was drawing on the paper.
-
He saw two lines, parralell to each other. She was drawing a another like intersecting and connecting the two paralell lines. Kali looked up, dropping the pencil, and made a waving motion with her right hand, whispering, "Shoo."
-
"I'm allowed to sit here, Missy." The man said with a fake cowboy accent, leaning back into the seat and making himself comfortable.
-
Her shyness really began to set in. She wanted to move, but she couldn't because she was too tired to stand. Kali continued to sketch whatever she was drawing. It looked like a large sqaure that took up most if paper. As she added more lines, it began to look more lika cube.
-
"So..." He said in a casual manner, reverting back to his British accent. . "Whatcha drawing?" He asked, keeping his focus on the book.
-
She finished drawing the cube, writing int its largest face. Kali passed the piece of paper to him, putting her elbows on the table and her face in her hands.
-
Carefully handling the piece of paper, he made sure not to smudge it as he took a closer look at it.
-
It was a cube wuth the word writer written in it.
-
"An abstract image?" The man asked, a smile forming on his lips. "The word writer is trapped in the box, and feels as though there is nothing to do."
-
She wrote on the paper, writer's block.
-
"I like my idea more so than what you just wrote down, If I may speak honestly."
-
She rolled her eyes.
-
"I only speak honestly." The man shrugged his shoulders, leaning back into the chair
