"What's yours do? I'm a sucker for weapons."
-
"Goes from a staff, which acts as basically a catalyst for my magic, to a sword. It's simple, but effective."
-
"Interesting, never understood magic really."
-
"It's just a thing you... I dunno, do. Like breathing, or eating, or banging. You get used to it."
-
"Well, if I ever get around to it, I could learn it then."
-
"Hell, I can try to teach you."
-
"Maybe, but now now though, some other time.
-
"Definitely, now really isn't the time. Especially since I almost crushed you with a tree."
-
"Yeah, that was scary enough." She let out a half chuckle then.
-
"I'm sure that sword could've chopped it. Probably."
-
"Eh, maybe. Might be a bit too short though."
-
"Nahhh, short things can do big work."
-
Rose laughed again then, her mind hearing something far different, about something other than a sword
-
Nat chuckled as well; she knew how it came out.
-
"Well, at least we're both versed in naughty humor."
-
"Of course, it's the best kind."
-
Rose huffed then in amusement, pulling out her phone to send s message.
-
Nat started to clean up the mess from the food, shoving it all into the fire.
-
It took Rose a bit, an excuse of a few soldiers testing artillery, saying she took care of them, and left the rest for other scavengers.
-
"So what do you do for fun at that campsite all day? And I mean other than beat people over the head?" Natalie would inquire, stepping out of the tent for a moment and stretching her legs and arms.
-
"There are fights, yeah, usually I sit around and just wait. Others do too, aside from the scouts we send out to keep an eye on the area. Usually its quiet, and nothing much goes on unless we celebrate something."
-
"So you just... Sit around all day, then? Don't you have books?"
-
"When I get them, never been one for reading."
-
"Well that sounds boring, just sitting and staring at nothing all day."
-
"Its usually just for a day or two, maybe longer. I'm used to it, its honestly not too bad."
