The changes that need making are base game design. They can't be fixed because it would need the game to be rebuilt.
4v4, static gun rolls, strikes that are too long, delta scaling making everything the same difficulty and power level meaning nothing, dummed down skill trees, P2P PvP, and quite a few other bad decisions make the game pretty much stuck where it is.
They can add incentives to play, but nothing will change, everything will still feel like hard work n not fun. They removed the magic

This. They've -blam!-ed too much of it. Changed too much for the worse that will be impossible to fix. Dead game.

It's not dead as such, I just think the people who aren't happy now mostly won't ever be in D2. What they're now in danger of doing, is overcompensating like they always do. Make things more grindy, which could piss off the remaining playerbase who are mostly now casuals.

Edited by Enochua: 11/8/2017 9:06:09 AMnothing is wrong with 4v4 but they should have had the option for more options agree on all other points. only thing they got right was public events but i still have hope

4v4 is like marmite, some love it some hate it. It's something that can't be changed in D2 due to map size.
-
map sizes can always be made bigger with updates
