Nightmare from Ireland
Dreams of Sarah Grey
She stood alone, in the Dojo Woods. Words echoed from a mysterious memory she had but couldn't figure out where it was from.
"Everybody's sorry fer somethin, but yer still selfish enough ta do it in the first place."
"Who's saying that?" She asked.
She slowly turned around. Sarah saw someone behind her. A Hunter, no less. A Hunter, with the hood of his cloak up.
The armor was unrecognizable to her. Literally. It was like what his armor was supposed to be was erased from her mind.
"Who are you?" She demanded, her right hand reaching for her Dark-Drinker, the sword that rested strapped to her back.
"Ya don't... remember me love?" The Hunter asked, an Irish accent was prominent.
He pulled down the hood of his cloak. The Hunter had short, wavy, dark brown hair, and brown eyes. He had two red stripe tattoos running down his left cheek.
Surely, Sarah would remember someone who would stand out like that in a crowd... right? Yet, she still didn't recognize him.
The Hunter spoke again, "Sarah, love? Where's yer ring." He was looking at her right hand. He reached for it, taking her hand, looking at it. Her hand was bare, without glove. She pulled her hand away.
"Why would I have a ring?" She demanded, "I'm not engaged. Or married. Or even dating. I've been single for years!"
"Ya don't remember...?" He asked, "Yer married... ta me. Don't ya remember, Lady Warlock?" The Hunter had called her that, and those words felt.... familiar.
Sarah's hand reached for the Dark-Drinker, again, "What do you mean?! It's been just me and Lunar. And recently Seraph, but that's aside from the point. I don't love you. I don't even know you! Get away from me!"
"Sarah..." the Hunter begged, weakly.
Her hand wrapped around her sword's handle. Pulling it off her back. She swung it once, and the Dark-Drinker decapitated the Hunter.
Stabbed in the heart with the Feels-Lighter.™ Bad spirit Dojo James. Bad Spirit Dojo James. I'll call Ghostbusters on you again.
Waking Moments
02:54, Dojo Woods, and Coincedently Near where Zavala's Shallow, Unmarked Grave Is.
The Warlock awoke, sweating. She was breathing heavily.
Lunar appeared, calming her down, "Easy, easy, Sarah. It was just a nightmare."
"Lunar?" She asked, sitting up.
"Yeah?" The Ghost asked.
"For a Ghost that sounds like Nolan North, you know how to calm people down. Thanks."
"Want Seraph to lull you back to sleep again?" He asked.
"No, but I do want to speak to her, Seraph!"
The whitish-grey code replica of the Warlock appeared at her left shoulder, "Yes, Miss Grey?"
"I told you to drop the formalities, geez. I thought your patronizing subroutines were offline. Anyway, have you found any similarities between the memories and the nightmare?" Sarah asked.
"Just your impulsiveness. Nothing else. That Hunter isn't showing up in any of our memories. More information may be needed," Seraph replied.
"Nothing in any of my memories, either," Lunar said.
"This probably isn't a missing piece," Sarah said.
"It could be," Seraph suggested.
"Seraph, it probably isn't," the Guardian argued.
Seraph muttered something, "Tá do stubbornness ag clashing le do instincts arís."
"What?" Sarah asked.
"Nothing...." Seraph replied.

Edited by Splashback77: 12/9/2017 10:03:03 AM"The Pyramidian..." She realized, "THOSE TIME-TRAVELING MOTHERF**KERS!!!" She stormed out of the library, her helmet appeaing on her head, her Eyasluna at her waist.
-
"There's that Guardian spirit! Haha! Onwards to go wave guns at people!" Bedlam easily kept up, following her.
-
She marched back into the woods, where smoke and lightning filled the area. The Vex had arrived. First, the hordes of Goblins. The Warlock fired her Eyasluna, shooting them in the juicebox before reloading. "Lunar! The Violet Crescent!" She demanded.
-
"Hardlight is more of my thing." Bedlam pulled a Hardlight seemingly out of no where, a red and white paintjob covering the gun. He fired at any sign of vex.
-
The Ghost transmatted away the Eyasluna and gave her what looked like a Y-09 Longbow Synthesis. She fired upon the the crowd with it, then once she emptied a cartridge, she charged in.
-
Bedlam kept firing for a second before shrugging and running in with his bare hands. He didn't stay unarmed for long as Nightshade formed in one of his hands and he began to cut up the remaining horde.
-
The horde grew larger as more goblins and hobgoblins showed up, even a few minotaurs. The Warlock hit a button on the rifle and it changed form into a mechanical scythe, just like Ruby's. She jumped to one of the minotaurs, slicing it in half horizontally. She brought the scythe down slicing a harpy vertically. She then pulled the handle back, firing two rounds at a pair of hobgoblins.
-
"How many game and show references are we going for?" His Nightshade turned into Qrow's scythe as he plowed through the enemies with relative ease, teleporting between targets just like the vex themselves.
-
She fought angrier and angrier, her light spliting and creating a Yang Xiao Long out of Solar Light that mowed through the Vex like it was nothing.
-
The angrier Sarah got and the more chaotic the fight got the stronger Bedlam got. His eyes burned a bright red as he sweeped away dozens of goblins with each swing, sending their corpses flying several dozen feet. "Hell yes!"
-
Edited by Splashback77: 11/12/2017 12:03:23 AMShe fought with burning rage, and soon, there was shotgun gauntlets replacing the scythe. She murdered with all the rage of Omega. Another light clone had joined. A solar and void clone of Agent Texas.
-
Bedlam kept swinging away, a one man army at this point as he took out hordes in seconds. He laughed as he did so, happy to have the chance to do this.
-
A third clone of light joined the crowd. This one was Arc and Solar light, and took the form of Agent Carolina.
-
"How many of these f*ckers are there, Sarah?!" He kept on laughing and swinging, enjoying the massacre. "Not that I'm complaining!"
-
Her and the light clones continued to destroy the growing horde of Vex.
-
Bedlam stayed near Sarah, now beginning to worry she'd never stop and go until she dies or something. "Sarah?!"
-
"THEY F**KING DERSERVE IT! YOU GO TO ROBOT HELL! AND YOU GO TO ROBOT HELL!" She yelled.. The Light fragments echoed her words in their own voices, magnifying how loud her yelling was.
-
Bedlam laughed maliciously at that whacking away a hundred goblins in a single blow before shaking his head and attempting to calm down. "Sarah, this isn't fixing anything. There's getting out your anger and then there's just being insane. Why don't we try to get the memories back?"
-
"She will regain them slowly," Lunar said.
-
"Lunar, is letting her continue to kill a good idea or...? I kinda enjoy this."
-
"Just let her."
-
"Okay."
-
Edited by Splashback77: 11/12/2017 6:20:32 AMThe Warlock continued to fight until the last Vex unit was dead. She managed to pull off her helmet. She was sweating bullets, she started to stumble as all the fragments if her light returned to her as she glowed. She started limp over to Bedlam, all the shots that she had tanked in her anger started to weigh her down. She started to black out.
-
"Sarah?!" Bedlam ran over and wrapped an arm around her midsection to keep her standing. "Sarah, just calm down and heal, okay? You tanked a lot of hits."
-
Edited by Splashback77: 11/18/2017 12:04:31 AM"I'll speed up the process," Lunar replied, scanning her, starting to heal his Warlock. "Her regeneration is going to be slower because the fragments of light she used for those clones are trying to merge back to her light. She might be out for a while," Lunar warned.
