Nightmare from Ireland
Dreams of Sarah Grey
She stood alone, in the Dojo Woods. Words echoed from a mysterious memory she had but couldn't figure out where it was from.
"Everybody's sorry fer somethin, but yer still selfish enough ta do it in the first place."
"Who's saying that?" She asked.
She slowly turned around. Sarah saw someone behind her. A Hunter, no less. A Hunter, with the hood of his cloak up.
The armor was unrecognizable to her. Literally. It was like what his armor was supposed to be was erased from her mind.
"Who are you?" She demanded, her right hand reaching for her Dark-Drinker, the sword that rested strapped to her back.
"Ya don't... remember me love?" The Hunter asked, an Irish accent was prominent.
He pulled down the hood of his cloak. The Hunter had short, wavy, dark brown hair, and brown eyes. He had two red stripe tattoos running down his left cheek.
Surely, Sarah would remember someone who would stand out like that in a crowd... right? Yet, she still didn't recognize him.
The Hunter spoke again, "Sarah, love? Where's yer ring." He was looking at her right hand. He reached for it, taking her hand, looking at it. Her hand was bare, without glove. She pulled her hand away.
"Why would I have a ring?" She demanded, "I'm not engaged. Or married. Or even dating. I've been single for years!"
"Ya don't remember...?" He asked, "Yer married... ta me. Don't ya remember, Lady Warlock?" The Hunter had called her that, and those words felt.... familiar.
Sarah's hand reached for the Dark-Drinker, again, "What do you mean?! It's been just me and Lunar. And recently Seraph, but that's aside from the point. I don't love you. I don't even know you! Get away from me!"
"Sarah..." the Hunter begged, weakly.
Her hand wrapped around her sword's handle. Pulling it off her back. She swung it once, and the Dark-Drinker decapitated the Hunter.
Stabbed in the heart with the Feels-Lighter.™ Bad spirit Dojo James. Bad Spirit Dojo James. I'll call Ghostbusters on you again.
02:54, Dojo Woods, and Coincedently Near where Zavala's Shallow, Unmarked Grave Is.
The Warlock awoke, sweating. She was breathing heavily.
Lunar appeared, calming her down, "Easy, easy, Sarah. It was just a nightmare."
"Lunar?" She asked, sitting up.
"Yeah?" The Ghost asked.
"For a Ghost that sounds like Nolan North, you know how to calm people down. Thanks."
"Want Seraph to lull you back to sleep again?" He asked.
"No, but I do want to speak to her, Seraph!"
The whitish-grey code replica of the Warlock appeared at her left shoulder, "Yes, Miss Grey?"
"I told you to drop the formalities, geez. I thought your patronizing subroutines were offline. Anyway, have you found any similarities between the memories and the nightmare?" Sarah asked.
"Just your impulsiveness. Nothing else. That Hunter isn't showing up in any of our memories. More information may be needed," Seraph replied.
"Nothing in any of my memories, either," Lunar said.
"This probably isn't a missing piece," Sarah said.
"It could be," Seraph suggested.
"Seraph, it probably isn't," the Guardian argued.
Seraph muttered something, "Tá do stubbornness ag clashing le do instincts arís."
"What?" Sarah asked.
"Nothing...." Seraph replied.

"If I won, you let me poke around in your mind a bit," Lunar made his wager. He seemed so ready to play this game, so much is at stake.
-
Bedlam snickered. "Oh my...okay. I don't see how that's not equal." In front of Bedlam appeared a table with a board on top of it. "Honestly, I'd agree to more than just that if you have anything else."
-
"Alrighty. Let's get started."
-
"Get started we shall." After Bedlam explained the rules they began the game. In the end, the kid took home the win. "Eyy, not bad. Want to do another wager, Lunar?"
-
Lunar seemed rather upset that he lost, "No... I'm good."
-
"You sure? That was only the first game, man. You're an AI, you'll most likely beat me this time." Bedlam asked in a friendly manner.
-
"Fiiiine," Lunar agreed, "Best 3 out of 5."
-
"Okay...." They play again, Bedlam winning once more. "Well, want to add to the wager?"
-
"No," Lunar replied.
-
"Just checking. Hey, I'm so confident I'll tell Sarah I have a crush on her if you win this time." They play again and Bedlam wins...again. "Well, that went well. You'll do better next time, Lunar. Glad I could help with the boredom a little."
-
Lunar was clearly unhappy. "Grr," he groaned.
-
"You're not mad at me, right? I just wanted to have some fun." Bedlam shrugged.
-
"I don't like the fact I agreed to bet on it."
-
Bedlam snickered and nodded. "Yep! Now you'll help me get Sarah. Thank you for that by the way."
-
Lunar sighed, "Ugh."
-
"I'm guessing she's out for the night and I normally sleep on that bed....You think she'd mind me sleeping beside her?" He made the table and game vanish.
-
"Depends on if she wakes up first," Lunar replied, "If you wake up first, she'll never know. If she wakes up first, she'll be pretty mad."
-
"Ugh..." He sighed, getting another blanket and laying it on the floor. He laid down with annoyance. "The floor it is then. I'd rather not piss her off instantly."
-
The Ghost sighed. He sensed her light split, as a light clone spawned. This one was made of Arc, Void, and Solar light. The figure was of a Titan, who wielding a flaming sword and void shield. A Sentinel Titan. It stood guard over her.
-
"Pff. Nothing will get you in here. Violet has made this library into a fortress. Even I couldn't break in here at my strongest...probably. It's safe to sleep here without worry." Bedlam yawned, beginning to fall asleep.
-
"I don't think that's why she generated it. She tends to make Titan clones in her sleep when she doesn't have any of her Freelancer plushies with her. Just a comfort habit, I suppose."
-
"Does Caboose count? I mean, there's that theory....Also, I can just poof one into exist."
-
"No... she does choose North Dakota and York plushies to cuddle. And Theta."
-
All three instantly appeared in Sarah's arms. "Good? Maybe she'll enjoy waking up to that...and hopefully doesn't step on me."
-
"Alright," Lunar said.
