"Mind if I give it a shot?"
Bedlam attempted to lift all of the weight off Sarah.
"Might kill myself doing this, but eh...I've never let death stop me before."

"I'll tell you from expirence. She'll take that as a challenge and will be funny to watch, but I'll shut up about it," Lunar told him with a snarky tone.

"Wait, what does that mean? What kind of challenge?" Bedlam eventually led them to a bookshelf that had a few lower shelves taken out and replaced with a bed. "I wanna know, Lunar...kinda mean to leave me hanging."

"Heh heh. That's for me, her, Seraph, and the funny memories to remember," Lunar added. He scanned the entire bookshelf nearby.

The books all seemed to be about something called 'chaos manipulation', but they were all written in a language unknown to the Ghost. Bedlam gently placed Sarah onto the bed, careful not to wake her. He covered her body with a soft blanket he had stuffed into a nearby shelf. "Well, even if you tell her I'll make sure to make her as happy as I can. That's my life goal after all, to spread as much joy as I can."

"Bedlam, I'm bored," Lunar told him.

Bedlam sighed. "Well, want to play a game or something? I'd say chess, but chess is dumb considering whoever plays first wins automatically if the two players are good enough."

"Hmm...." Bedlam smirked. "Ever heard of the board game called Go? Bet your AI isn't good enough to calculate all the possibilities of that game."

"Never heard," Lunar admitted.

"Yknow, it's very simple. Kinda like checkers. You have little chips, one side colored black and the other white, that you place on the board and the whole objective is to control as much territory on the board as possible using said chips. It's rather fun. You know what would make it even more fun? An interesting bet."

"A bet?" Lunar asked, "Oh, I'm interested." The Ghost was a bit of a gambler. "Tell me the bet!"

"Huh." Bedlam thought for a moment. "I don't know what you want from me if you somehow win, but if I win I want you to help be my wingman with Sarah."

"If I won, you let me poke around in your mind a bit," Lunar made his wager. He seemed so ready to play this game, so much is at stake.

Bedlam snickered. "Oh my...okay. I don't see how that's not equal." In front of Bedlam appeared a table with a board on top of it. "Honestly, I'd agree to more than just that if you have anything else."

"Alrighty. Let's get started."

"Get started we shall." After Bedlam explained the rules they began the game. In the end, the kid took home the win. "Eyy, not bad. Want to do another wager, Lunar?"

Lunar seemed rather upset that he lost, "No... I'm good."

"You sure? That was only the first game, man. You're an AI, you'll most likely beat me this time." Bedlam asked in a friendly manner.

"Fiiiine," Lunar agreed, "Best 3 out of 5."

"Okay...." They play again, Bedlam winning once more. "Well, want to add to the wager?"

"No," Lunar replied.

"Just checking. Hey, I'm so confident I'll tell Sarah I have a crush on her if you win this time." They play again and Bedlam wins...again. "Well, that went well. You'll do better next time, Lunar. Glad I could help with the boredom a little."

Lunar was clearly unhappy. "Grr," he groaned.

"You're not mad at me, right? I just wanted to have some fun." Bedlam shrugged.

"I don't like the fact I agreed to bet on it."
