The Ocean Calm...
By some large body of water with a dock...
The water had always helped Angelo. It had many different times in his life: first travelling to and around Venice, then giving him his career in the Navy, Marines and then getting trained as a Witch Hunter. To be honest, if it hadn't been for the great sea, he probably wouldn't be who he was today. He chuckled a bit, thinking about it as he looked st the star tattoos on his arm. Soon, he thought, before looking back out to the water, feet dangling off the dock like a kid might.
He didn't don his normal gear, no rifle or armour in sight of him. No, instead he wore clothing more fit for a workout, long black sweatpants and a light green t-shirt were on his body. He had removed his shoes, letting his feet touch the water under him as he rested, having just finished a run. His hair was out of its bandanna, the dirty blond mess of it sweaty like the rest of him as he looked out over the water. He grabbed a water bottle, taking a long drink of it as he did and putting it back
He picked up a small rock, flicking it across the water. It skipped 2-3-4-5 times, before stopping and sinking into the water. And so he sat, curious to what might befall him today

"Ugh....." He'd hear a groan as someone approached "Uh, hey? Do you know where we are?" Came a male voice
-
"All I know is that it isn't Earth and the water is pretty nice around this time." Angelo responded a she turned t look at the voice
-
It was a man dressed in bulky armor, tho lacking a helmet. "Then...where?" He said, almost to himself.
-
"Apparently some place called Takati or some shit. Hey, there's alcohol and rounds, so it's good enough for me."
-
"The sea is quite lovely today don't you agree young man?"she says There's a woman standing not far off just looking at the sea with a longing sigh. This woman is about 6'5" with long fiery red hair tinged with silver. She had pale blue skin and bright emerald eyes. She was very slender and didn't look like much of a fighter at all. She seemed about as calm as the sea itself. What he would not know though is that he is talking with a actual mermaid and a very old one at that.
-
"Can't think of a day that it isn't?" He said laughing a bit as he looked over it. "Then again, I've got a bit of a bias towards it. I've been on the open waters a good deal of my life."

Edited by NightBloomsFell: 11/13/2017 9:26:44 PM"Have lived in the seas almost my entire life and im pretty old. My new is Azalea Frost. Im a mermaid."she says
-
"Yknkw, before I had come here someone telling me that woildve actually screwed with me." He says laughing a bit
-
"Im pretty that would mess with someone. But here's a fun fact next time dump a good amount of water on their legs if they are one their legs will turn into a tail."says azalea she chuckles a little finding that funny.
-
"Of course if they aren't ill probably get slapped." He says laughing a bit as well. He seemed like a kind person, relaxed
-
"Yeah true but i have been on the receiving end of water being dumped on me or push into the water."says azalea

Lohi was also very keen to the water, having grown up on the island of Oahu, of Hawaii, she loved the ocean. She was dressed more casual, wearing a surfer's gear. She stared out onto the open water, "It's been a while since I've been surfing."
-
He was surprised a bit, not making it visible though as he turned his body to face Lohi behind him. "Eh, I've always been more of a sailing person myself. That or windsurfing." He said, smiling a bit.
-
She shrugged, "That's pretty fun, as well. Well Angelo..." She seemed to be buttering him for some reason.
-
"Yeah, it was." He said, referring to the enjoyment he had from it. He clued in, realizing the last part and responding. "Yeah?"
-
"You said you went on a date with someone. How did it go?" She asked. Oddly enough, she wasn't asking many questions. She probably would have, had it not been for her change in mind.
-
"It went pretty well actually. Other than a few disturbances, it went pretty nicely. And well, the fact both of us are shit at small talk." He said laughing a bit. His plan was to just play it cool. Let them know some things about it so they wouldn't delve too deep
-
"I guess that's kinda hard when you don't have any pickup lines you don't need to use. But I wouldn't know," she chuckled.
-
"Yeah. You and I don't exactly see eye to eye when it comes to relationships." He said chuckling with her, before sighing a bit. "Won't ask why about that though. Let that come naturally."

Edited by Splashback77: 11/27/2017 4:26:08 AM"I guess. So did you and them have a good lunch," she asked. She seemed more... chill... than usual.
-
"Dinner, but yeah. Like I said, except for one person who seemed a little to adamant that we should kiss then and there, it all went smoothly."
-
She chuckled, "Sounds like someone likes the thought of you two dating, already." She sat down, laying back a bit.
-
"Yeah. It's weird, and honestly I feel horrible for even thinking this, but they sounded a lot like you." He said. It wasn't like he as accusing her, more like her truly just thought it was a strange coincidence.
-
"Oh no, if it was me, it would be yelled in Hawiian," she chuckled.
-
"Also I don't think it would've been a choice on our part if it was you." He says teasingly
