After a thoroughly demoralizing attempt at opening the door to pleasure gardens in prestige mode, I sought to understand the "force of will" upon landing a standard at the plate. A lack of information on the internet led me to hold some tests myself. The buff lasts for 20 seconds after the standard is planted, and you must remain on the plate to enjoy it's benefits. The buff grants you a x3 multiplier to damage. The buff effects weapon damage, and seemingly ability damage (only tested with a pulse grenade). It also stacks with other damage buffs like the Origin Story's "rampage" effect. I have yet to test it while using an empowering rift, but I can only hope for the best. Hopefully this helps some others find some answers.
