"Oh no, another furry hunter."
Came the voice of the sole fur-f@g in the Dojo, Alpha.
"Whatever shall I do?"
She was perched on one of the gates, looking down at him
"I'm very sure we both know who we are, so I'll dispense with the pleasantries for now."
Well, her vocabulary is at least more mature than the others Jason had hunted. She was only dressed in a blue robe with emerald green trim and waistband, almost the garb of royalty. She wore no shoes, her bare paws shoes enough for her. Not surprisingly given the over-the-top-sexuality of the rest of them, her robe showed off a fair amount of leg, but not the amount where she was begging to get railed.
"So, what brings you here? Another pelt? Another hunt?"
She said, looking down at her hand and picking shit out of her claws out of boredom.
Alpha had matured somewhat, looking closer to a young adult and not the young teen he had seen earlier. The goat also was missing an eye, and had a fair few scars, as well as a modulated voice.
"Whatever the case, you'll find I'm the only one of my kind here...for now.
I hope my immunity from the hunts will continue to last?"
She said, looking up at him

While it may have been expected of the... uh... legendary hunter of furries, Jason, to whip out a gun and blast Alpha's face off before she could even blink, he did absolutely no such thing. Instead, he merely grinned beneath his helm, giving the goat-girl a mock salute and a wave. "Yo, uh..." Well, that greet fell apart as soon as it had started, the Russian pausing as he searched for a name. His mind raced with thoughts, having to think back an entire decade just for the girl's name. "...Beta, was it! Hold on, no, no, that just isn't right, because Beta was the sister, I think... Alpha? Alpha! Heeey, yeah, your immunity to the hunts is still in effect, I suppose, even though I don't plan on hunting another furry or scalie or whatever the fuсk kinda shit I'm going to run into." Well, at least he remembered her name. While Alpha seemed to have matured, Jason had too -- or at the very least, he had changed, no longer has angry at life as he had been. Overall, he seemed much more laid-back. "Don't even really know why I came back here, but eh, here I am now... How've you been, you hairball?"
-
"Beta's husband died in the hunts, I left my adoptive family, got tortured by practical n@zis......yeah. Pretty good." She said, sighing. Then, she dropped from the top, alighting on the ground as weightless as a leaf. With maturing, she had also evolved a sense of grace. "met a girl, and....she's something else. I..." This would've been the first time he had seen her blush, the only approximation really being the pink tinge the fur on her cheeks took. Also, oddly, on the tips of her long goat ears too.

>N@zis The hell? Are you mentally deficient?

When Alpha landed, the oversized wolf-dog-thing immediately took an interest to her, his clawed paws lightly ticking on the stone stairs as he approached her, perhaps making her a little uneasy with his sheer size, his head around chest level, but he clearly didn't mean any harm. "Well, that's... quite a lot of happening, I gotta admit. Happy you found yourself someone, though, even if I haven't seen you for a decade -- and before you ask: time gets loopy and weird when you skip entire star systems." Well, Jason had a point there. MJ, in the meantime, lightly and curiously sniffed at Alpha, staying a little ways away until he knew for sure whether he could get close without upsetting the goat-girl, his fluffy tail swishing back and forth. For a wolf, he wasn't very wolf-like, for sure.
-
"Well, it's complicated." She explained as she petted MJ "I'm not sure how to explain it." Alpha said, sighing. "She's so far out of my league it's depressing. It's like I'm playing softball and she's playing soccer."
-
"Ah, it's a crush, then..." MJ promptly sat himself down when Alpha started petting him, tail wagging wildly, swishing over the staircase as he pushed his head up and into the goat-girl's hand. His fur felt delightful to her hands, too, infinitely soft and so dense it felt like she was touching a cloud. "What's your relationship with 'er right now? You're friends, I assume?" Relationship advice from the sixty-something year old mercenary-man who had a fetish for skinning animal people inbound. Oh boy.
-
"I.....we were close. But....people were coming after me and I didn't want her hurt....so I lied. I faked my own death to get them off of everyone I loved's back. She hated that. I don't know if she can stand me anymore."
-
"Well, kid, listen up." Jason rolled his shoulders, his hands folding together on the back of his helmet, armoured digits intertwining. He looked down at Alpha for a few moments, MJ rubbing the side of his head against her midriff in the middle, more or less trying to comfort her. "If she can't appreciate you trying to keep her safe and well, maybe she's not worth it? You lied, yes, and you faked your own death - which is pretty impressive, I have to admit - but it was to keep the аsshatts that were hunting you off your loved ones. You tried explaining?"
-
"Haven't had the chance." Alpha quickly explained "I've been having a hard time finding her."
-
"Hmm, well... I wish you luck. As for the dudes that were hunting you..." Jason took his hands off of the back of his head, crossing his arms behind his back instead. "I'm gonna need names."
-
"I already dealt with them a long...long time ago. Time flows differently here as opposed to there. I age very slowly, you see, only aging a little every time I go through my cycle." She said
-
"Time is weird," Jason mused as an agreement, a nod accompanying his words while the corners of his lips curled up into an approving grin. "Gets all over the place when you travel space and shit; a day here may be a year elsewhere."
-
"I was there for quite a few years, long enough to biologically age to 19" She said
-
"Oh, by the way... What's that cycle thing you mentioned? I assume like a year or whatever, but I don't know how things work with goat-people." While it may've been seen as rude, it was pretty clear Jason didn't mean any harm with his words.
-
"Every month I have my period." She said, shrugging
-
"Oh, that cycle. You only age whenever that happens?"
-
"I know its weird." She said, sighing
-
"Weird indeed." MJ continued to ask for attention in the meantime, lightly rubbing his own flank against Alpha's, acting more like an extremely oversized cat rather than an... extremely oversized wolf.
-
She petted the dog, exasperated "Dude, your dog. Get him to chill."
-
Jason chuckled at first, though a quick snap of his fingers and a stern "MJ, heel" got him to calm down, the big beast reluctantly moving away from Alpha and patiently sitting himself down at Jason's feet. "Yeah, sorry... He, uh, tends to forget he's the size of a small horse."
-
"no kidding." She said, sighing "Well...if you see her, her name's Pandora. And if you see Irina, tell her I'm looking for her too, I'd like to talk to her."
-
Oh -blam!-.
-
Jason nodded, his left hand absentmindedly scratching behind MJ's ears while he did, causing the dog to slowly wag his tail back and forth over the staircase. "Pan and Irina, gotcha. I'll let Irina know if I ever run into her again... lady has a tendency to just disappear."
-
"Please do. they both mean a lot to me." She said, putting both hands together somewhat anxiously
-
"Mind giving me a quick once-over for Pandora, though? Don't think I've ever met her, and if I did, I can't remember for the life of me..."
