@Don Diablo, I get where you're coming from however I'd also like to point out that we are talking about a company with some 750 employees and associated with major gaming development companies like Activision and Blizzard. It's not like people are demanding multiple raids and lots of content (like WoW gets for each expansion) however I think that, if you're going to demand €60 to buy the game and then charge some €30 per expansion then you'd expect at least some sort of decent end-game. With that said, one of the biggest issues I think most people have so far is not the actual amount of the content but rather the choices made on how to spend development - I'm no expert but I'd think that developing the option to pick your own Crucible match type wouldn't be ground-breaking, nor would adding slightly more complex looting items (like set items, for example). I'm sorry but I have no sympathy for Bungie at this stage; they have shown that, as a game developer, they were nowhere near ready to take on such a massive project and would have done better just creating Destiny as a single-player game and focused on that and gave people a more limited but better game to play (like Horizon Zero Dawn).

  • Got that and I'm not saying that they've done flawless! It's more likely people should maybe not expect in such a short period something big like a complete new raid and stuff like that. All I'm actually saying is, just understand it takes time and effort. And yeah like the crucible match type is something I don't get either, but guess we can't change that. Thanks for your reply though.

  • @Don Diablo =) Yes I'm sure it takes time and effort however, if I understand correctly, Destiny 2 was a game that was in development for quite a long time, which to me says that the developers had time to plan a proper strategy for releasing game content further on from the original release. Surely they knew when they originally started planning the game that one raid within one full calendar year would not be enough to keep the masses happy? I'm basing this off of comments I've seen from others who said that Bungie all but confirmed that there won't be a new raid until earliest September 2018. Personally I think that €60 was well spent on the game; I have played a large amount of hours to max out my light level and enjoyed my time playing however, similarly to Destiny 1, I won't be purchasing expansions simply because the content to price paid is not worth it for me. When I used to play WoW religiously I was happy to pay €13 a month for it because there was always content to play, I was never maxed out and ran out of things to do no matter how many hours a day I played it. Now, in Destiny 2, I know that I'd be better off paying €60 for another completely new game which will take me a lot of hours to complete rather than spend €25 to get a story mode that will last me 4 to 5 hours and then "end-game content" that I'll play a couple of times and then get bored of. Cheers for a mature discussion by the way - not always the easiest to get on this forum hehe

Couldn’t agree more, as a massive fan of D1, flaws & all, there was a great core game hiding under all the shit, but instead of building on that, they seem to have gone back to square 1; just 1 example, I know Archons Forge or Court of Oryx weren’t great, but having them accessible from the patrol areas was a great idea, I thought this time Strikes might’ve been integrated into Patrols or at least something a bit more imaginative than the same old, tired Playlist!
