Basically what you are saying is that, if I go to a restaurant and the food tastes like crap, I should thank them for the effort.
This participation trophy mentality is exactly what went wrong with this game.

So you stand in front of the restaurant and tell everybody that the food sucks? Everybody else who eats there and likes it is wrong? Participation trophy mentality?
