I don't really remember people complaining about god rolls.
They went this way so it's easy to balance . Was the worst decision they've made.

The complaints were around them being too hard to get for many they tried to remedy it with the house of wolves rerolling which had the side effect of stopping the grind for them. Now there is no grind just a collectin of static gear so in effect a boring but balanced playing field. (Agree it was a shit move by bungie)
