I'm sure you all know about the World Record "DownVote" Thread on Reddit about Microtransactions in EA's Battlefront II ... Well, thanks to Disney (owners of Star Wars IP) and the Gaming Community, EA has removed *ALL MICROTRANSACTIONS* from SW BF 2. All rewards are earned by in-game skill and play-time.
This is unprecedented as EA is the largest game company (publisher/producer/developer) in the world. Even more than Activision (contracting Bungie atm); so we as fans can overtake this. We can start our own rebellion against Activision and Bungie and win just as handedly. The truth is out there. We have won 1 war. We can win another...

Is bright engrams what you get from microtransactions? You can already get that with in game skill and playtime because you get one every time you fill your xp bar at level 20. And what you get from them is shaders, ghost shells with minor bonuses, different skins for sparrows and space ships, armor with 10 defense, different skins for exotic weapons if you've gotten them from playing otherwise, emotes, emblems, and blue mods. True, blue mods can be useful, but you can get that with in game skill and playtime by farming blues and leveling up the gunsmith. The rest is just cosmetic. It's true that microtransactions can be bad, but unless there's another place in game with microtransactions than the bright engrams that I haven't discovered, there's probably other games that the microtransaction protesters might want to focus on first.
