So you think that 3 years after LAUNCH they're still operating on that original budget? The original budget that is now 5-6 years old?? You think that if it's a tough quarter and sales aren't as projected that they get to renew everyone's contract? Or keep everyone employed?? Hey maybe if it's a really good year they can wave a bigger cheque in front of some hardcore devs or management... It's not rocket science, bud. Like honestly, you come on here saying grow up and this is bull and that's bull. Just stop to think about it for more than one nanosecond. One purchase is a drop in the bucket, sure. But without our widespread support, this franchise will suffer, AND SO WILL ITS CREATORS. If a coffee shop can't compete with Starbucks selling a lot of pumpkin spice lattes, do you think the chances increase or decrease for keeping that seasonal hire they brought on? The $60 I spent on Destiny doesn't go directly into some random dev's bank account. But our support keeps the game, and thus their JOBS, afloat.
