You wake up.
It’s cold.
It’s wet.
The liquid you lay in is thick, very viscous. The liquid you lay in is gray. It smells fruity, like you lay in a syrup. Everything is black and white. You look to our left, and there is a white wall. You look to your right. You see a mirror, and a door. You cannot see yourself in the mirror.
You wipe off your eyes, wiping the liquid to the sides of your face. You look down, you lay in a tub. You slowly stand up, falling down flat on your face as you attempt to leave the tub.
A wave of fear hits you as you make contact with the ground. You don’t know who you are. You are scared. You didn’t know where you were. You didn’t know what was going on. You try to stand up again, catching yourself on the tub. You stand, and move to the mirror. And you remember. You remember one, single thing.
Your name.
This is an event. You will not die, but injury is very possible, and should be expected. You have none of your gear or abilities. If a part of your body is non-organic, then it is replaced with human parts. Even if you are not a human. If you have an ability or armor built-in your body, you have been stripped of it.
Begin with stating your character and your character’s appearance. Only state their first name.
Sylvie... The tall woman with very long bright purple hair hung loose covering part of her nude tattooed body. She could see her own purple eyes and her confused expression as sylvie wondered where she was. As she looked at her half tattooed face. She glanced down at herself realizing she had no clothes to speak of. Then glance around the room she was in wondering where she was.
-
The walls suddenly began to wobble, turning into a different material. They became silvery, reflective. All mirrors. They all reflected different versions of her. One just made her male, another made her much younger, and another made her much older. The last one was a regular reflection. On the ceiling was a word as well. The word choose.
-
Sylvie had seen word on the ceiling as she looked at each of the mirrors carefully not knowing if this would permanently effect her if she chose any of them except the regular version of herself. She eventually for god knows what insane reason she steps in front of the male version of herself cause she wasn't so sure about the others too much.
oh my god XD I hope changes aren't permanent lol
-
The male version suddenly began to move, putting his hands on his side of the mirror. He pressed his forehead against it, and said one word. “Break.” Then, he turned around and walked away. He got smaller and smaller in the distance, until he was gone entirely, just a dot on the bleak horizon.
-
Sylvie jumped when she seen it move as it was unnatural to her but she decided to break the mirror but she had nothing so she pretty much punched the mirror. She had probably cuts her hands as a result to try and follow the strange version of herself.
-
But she didn’t even break the glass. Her hand hit the glass hard, but all it did was make her hand hurt like hell. Maybe she should turn towards one of the others?
-
Sylvie turn to the younger one as she rubbed her sore hand. This time she wouldn't hit it.
-
The younger one did exactly what the male one did, and she spoke a different word. “The...” She then walked away, just like the male one did.
-
ok this is just getting weird thought Sylvie as she looked at the rest that were still there. She was very unsure now as she chose the next mirror with the one that mirrored exactly. She pretty much at this point was expecting that was going do the same thing as the other two did.
-
It did the exact same thing, but said a different word. “Illusion...” It then walked away just as the other two.
-
she was unsure what the words break the illusion meant to her. as all she saw was the older version left and was uncertain what this one would say to her.

Edited by Stitch: 11/20/2017 9:33:27 AM"My name is Genesis....Huh. Strange." The white skinned human male gazed around. His expression remained rather blank, but there was a hint of curiousity as he looked all over. He ran a hand through the white hair on his head before bringing it back down to look at it. After gazing over his own body he realized he was only a child, no older than 10. "Where am I?" For a young kid he kept irregularly calm and collected as he continued observing his surroundings.
Anyone remember that robot looking thing that would pull people into a mindscape? Still around.
-
There was just silence for a while. Around an hour passed with no response from anything at all. But eventually, something did speak up. It sounded quiet, but menacing and full of malice. “You... You do not belong... Leave this place before we are rid of you... Leave before you die in this wretched place...”
-
He attempted to face where the voice was coming from. He didn't seem scared, but still rather curious. "I don't belong? I'm sorry. I'll leave as soon as I find an exit, but...may I ask where I do belong? I believe I'm suffering from some memory loss and I do not really know who I am or why I'm here or, as I said, where I belong."
-
However, there was nowhere to turn. It was like the voice was all around him, surrounding him, enveloping him. Rather interesting. “Leave... We do not know where you belong... We do not care where you belong... Go through the door... Leave our room... You are not welcome here... Not loved here... You are hated here...”
-
"Oh? Did I do something wrong? Well, I should probably leave if I bother you so..." He looked for the door the voice spoke of planning to leave the instant he found it.
-
The door, as mentioned above, was on the far side of the room near the mirror. It was an old, oaken door. “Leave... Never return... Or you shall burn in the eternal pits of Tartarus...”
-
"Burning...burning is bad, right?" He moved to the door, opening it and walking though. "Yes, very bad for organic life."
-
He opened into pitch darkness, and the voice from before chuckling. It’s laughter grew and grew, eventually turning into a hacking cough. The door shut behind him, and he heard it lock. He was all alone in a pitch-dark room now.
-
"Oh...are you okay? If you're sick maybe you should rest." He blinked at the darkness, attempting and failing to see through it. "Do you happen to have a light?"
-
The room suddenly lit up, although there was nothing to cast light. There was a humanoid figure in the center, looking vaguely female. It was crying, but only very softly.
-
"Hello? Who're you? May I ask why you're crying? Do you need help?" He asked with little emotion, seeming to care a litttle more about the answers than the person.
-
The woman just kept crying, not looking up at Genesis. It was still black as coal, nothing able to be seen at all.
-
Genesis began walking beside the wall, trying to trace around the room until he found something.
-
On the very far side of the room, he felt a handle. But it wasn’t a doorknob or anything like that. It felt like a flat, thin handle, like on a cabinet.
