Instead of waiting to see the effect, he rushed after it in the direction of the cowboy. Rather than running normally, his back was hunched and lowered, his arms loose to cover his face, the ornate guards covering it, his hands were slightly open, arms tucked tight around his stomach. When reaching fist distance of the cowboy, took a quick jab at his stomach. [/b] [spoiler]Essentially he threw the axe at JT, and rushed in to jab at his stomach. Deal with both how you wish, but the axe moves much faster than Dale, so he should have time to react to the punch. [/spoiler]
