Bedlam slipped into the seat beside Sarah silently, his normal dress attire fitting the situation well. He smiled at Sarah and gave her a friendly wink before waving over at her father.
"Hey, Mason. You ever finish naming all those baby animals?"

Her cheeks were still red but she started to pale. Sarah looked uncomfortable in her sweater dress, that was low as her knees. She really was mortified beyond belief.

"I'm so sorry, Sarah. I shouldn't have done that..." He apologized, his tone sincere. "Do you need a hug?"

"I guess I'll take one," she sighed. She wrapped her arms around him.

Bedlam wrapped his arms around her in return. "Hugs make everything better. That's what I've been told."

"Yeah. They always help. Unless they break your ribs."

"Well, I'll make sure not to break yours." He chuckled. "I'm really sorry about going over the top..."

"Lunar...I swear...." He glared over at the Ghost. "We just met. Marriage isn't....I mean, that's so far off of even being a thought in my mind right now."

"Sorry, Sarah. You have to learn not to be scared though. Nothing will happen to me. I don't have a Ghost that can be crushed to make me mortal. I literally get stronger during fights. In a war I'm unkillable." He hugged her tighter, whispering into her ear. "Please don't talk like something bad will happen..."

She sighed, "Alright." She kissed him.

He kissed back, pulling away after a few seconds. "If you don't like going so slow...I guess you could always propose to me and we can decide what our kids' names will be right now." Bedlam quietly laughed, obviously joking.

She chuckled, "One step at a time. But we'll get there." To be honest, she had names for kids planned since her and Finn were engaged.

"Hmm...one step..." He kissed her neck lightly before letting go of her. "Well, what's the next step, m'lady?" He tipped an imaginary fedora.

"An actual date," she said, chuckling.

"Right! A date." He put an arm around her shoulder. "Where would you like to go on a date?"

"Msybe a nice restaruant. But you also owe me Rwby binge date," she told him.
