"Do they all have collars with their names or....How do you remember them all? There has to be at least two dozen of them."
Bedlam gazed over all the animals.
"Huh."
English
-
Each were a different breed either cat or dog. "Topaz tagged them," Mason said.
-
"Ah." Bedlam nodded before looking over at Sarah. "May I ask why we're all sitting at this large table? Someone's birthday or something?"
-
"Thanksgiving," Mia sighed.
-
"Thanksgiving? I'm guessing a holiday? Huh....Oh, sorry for mistaking you for Sarah in that arena a while ago, Mia."
-
"Yeah. Old American holiday of giving thanks. And feasting," Sarah explained.
-
"Giving thanks and feasting? Well, I like the sound of feasting..." He chuckled. "Mind if I join in? Or was this seat taken?"
-
"No, it's open," Sarah said.
-
"Thanks, Sarah." He wrapped an arm around her shoulders for a quick hug like squeeze before letting go.
-
Mason's left eye twitched as he watched Bedlam. Mia saw what coming and said, "Okay... how about we all go around and say what we're thankful for."
-
"...Maybe you guys start since I've never done this before? Is there like a specific format...?" He shrugged, unsure of what to say.
-
"You just.. say what you're thankful for, no format. Just say it," Sarah explained.
-
"Well, I'm thankful for my friends, I guess....I'm specifically thankful for my friend Panta as she has helped me better myself. Umm....I'm thankful for Sarah making the mistake of thinking going out with me is a good idea and I'm thankful for Mason not killing me?" Bedlam looked over at Mason with a nervous smile.
-
Mason looked like he was about to explode. Mia sighed, "I'm thankful for my friends, my family, and my Ghost. But, I'm praying that my father doesn't learn how to become a Sunbreaker by attacking my sister's boyfriend." Sarah sighed, "I'm thankful for my Ghost, the memories I regained, my family. But I'm praying my father us going to chill." Mason sighed, "I'm thankful that I found my daughters. And for Topaz, of course. But right now, I guess I'm thankful that I'm being patient at the sight of who inevitably going to be my son in law. And hopefully, he'll live longer than the last one." Sarah's face was turning red with embarrasment.
-
"Son in..." Bedlam's own face got red from embarrassment as he cleared his throat. "Let's uh...let's not jump the gun, eh?"
-
Sarah reached for Bedlam's hand. Mason laughed, "Well, then, we shall eat."
-
He took her hand with a weak smile and an expression that screamed "HELP ME". "Y-Yeah....eat..."
-
She looked at Bedlam with a knowing glance, still embarrased.
-
Bedlam smirked right before leaning in and pecking her on the lips out of no where. "Don't be so embarrassed, Sarah. You're not embarrassed of liking me, are you?"
-
"No, I'm embarrassed at the whole son-in-law joke." Mason began to pass around different trays, Bedlam recieving the mashed potatoes bowl.
-
"Yeah...let's not talk about that..." He took food as it was passed to him and attempted to help make sure the food was passed to everyone. "I don't know why people expect us to get married already..."

Edited by Splashback77: 1/3/2018 7:22:06 AM"It's making fun of me..." She whispeted, as she dipped her mashed potatoes.
-
"Oh...Well, I'm sorry they're making fun of you." He whispered back before beginning to eat. "Hey, maybe after this we can do something fun together to make up for all the teasing I caused by showing up?"
-
She finshed dipping out her plate, after putting a variety of food on it, and began to eat. Likewise with the rest of the guardians at the table.
-
Bedlam silently ate as well...for a while. "Thanks, for the food, guys. Who exactly made it?"
-
"I did," Mason spoke.
