And just like that, someone would appear, seemingly coming out of thin air, though perhaps it was the fact that she suddenly did something useful that made her stand out. She was a mage, by the looks of it, leaning heavily on the six-feet-and-seven-inches tall staff at her side, both hands clasped around the sturdy, black leather grip near the top of the staff, which consisted of a big, blue, rectangular gem, while the stave itself was made from oak wood. The girl herself couldn't be older than sixteen or seventeen, looking incredibly young and spritely, with lightly tanned skin and big, deep, swirling silver eyes that shone, twinkled, glimmered, and shimmered with a lust for life and childlike excitement for the world, pairing perfectly with her equally as silvery hair. The long, thick, healthy locks were tied into a crown braid (think Dany's hair from GoT), the braid itself draped over her left shoulder, reaching down to her chest. Sharp features made up the rest of her face, her nose adorably upturned and curving gently into her delicate forehead, while her lips were thin and curled into a grin. There were a few... odd features, though, and they stuck out like sores. Pointy, elf-like ears protruded from the girl's head, sticking out like knives, each about four inches in length, their underside adorned with colourful gemstones, ranging from rubies to amethysts, carefully set into her skin. Sticking out from just a bit away from her elf ears, the mage had a pair of thick, mighty draconian horns, the dark purple things sticking out a good few inches before curling forwards and slightly down, the ends going straight again. The horns shared their colour with the patch of scales that ran down her jawline and partially covered the middle of her forehead, fading into her hairline. A small freckle sat a little above the right corner of her lips. Her body was shrouded in a set of simplistic, grey robes, and yet despite her clothes, her curves were undeniable. The girl wasn't the most curvy one out there, of course, but she wasn't the flattest one either; she had a modest bust, really. Furthermore, her body was muscular, brimming with latent power even if it didn't show, all caused by her race. She stood at six-feet-and-one-inch exactly. It didn't take long at all for a group of bear-things to take notice of her, charging at the poor dragon-elf with loud, boisterous roars, their maws spread. The mage just lightly tapped the bottom of her staff on the floor, sending a shockwave of bright blue light at the creatures, enveloping them, annihilating their very being, devouring everything that made them be, molecules and atoms ripped apart. Once the wave faded, nothing of the monstrosities was left, while the girl still stood.

 • Ariawyn only nodded in response, an awed expression on her face. She carefully, tentatively, flipped the page, her silver eyes looking over the text that lay behind the warning, her breathing a tad bit faster than it usually was.

 • that first one was a plague system dubbed the sleeping death. Which would cause the victims to fall in to a deep sleep where they would be impossible to rouse as they eventually waste away then die.

 • Now... this was more what Aria had expected. It was unnerving, but at the same time, she wanted to learn more of these twisted spells. She felt eager, flipping another page, wanting to garner even more knowledge.

 • Ariawyn was unnerved by the dark, horrid spells, of course, but she also felt a spying desire to use them on... something, who knew what. They interested her deeply, both their effects and the stories behind them -- what terrible things happened to their creators to make them create such spells... and as such, she only kept reading, completely captivated.

 • azalea watches her leaf through the pages of dark magic wondering just what she thought of them exactly. As she knew that was a good reason they weren't used anymore. She had met some of the creators that made them. All them had one thing in common they were all insane.

 • Aria would soon feel the repercussions of her excitement, her throat clenching shut while her face distorted into a look of agony, her eyes wide. Her right hand gripped at her chest, her heart feeling heavy and painful, agony aching in her bosom, throbbing. Only a moment later, she lost consciousness completely, slumping forwards and over the book.

 • Aria was out cold, her face unnervingly pale, her breathing... non-existant. She remained effectively dead for God knows how long - time seemed frozen - but then, she took a sharp, hasty breath, eyes flying back open. She clutched at her chest again, breathing fast and ragged.

 • "F-Fine," She stuttered with gritted teeth, the fingertips on the hand that held her chest glowing with soft, pleasant green light. Aria slowly pushed a sigh out as she visibly relaxed, her pain disappearing.

 • "I thought so... My deepest apologies, Mistress." She offered an innocent smile as she lowered her hands, gently grasping the book with them both as she had before. Of course, Aria wanted to continue reading, but... she was definitely in need of some rest.

 • The little Scicylla didn't necessarily look tired... she just looked worn-out and weary, as if she had carried the weight of the world on her shoulders only a few moments ago. She pushed a sigh past her lips, only nodding in agreement instead of speaking. Carefully, she closed the book, holding it out to Azalea after. "Sorry for... being forced to rest so much, Ma'am. I fear I may be more high-maintenance than most pupils."

 • While rushing caused errors, taking things too slowly wasn't ideal either. Still, Aria only complied since she did definitely agree with her needing rest. She slowly slunk back into the tent, a shiver running down her spine... she'd never realized how cold she was. Silently, she slipped beneath the blankets on the bedroll, curling up beneath them. Her eyes shut, and almost immediately, she was asleep.

 • Aria just peacefully and very deeply slept over in the tent, all curled up in her robes and beneath the blankets. It was winter by now, and she felt it, even if, really, the cold hadn't done anything before. The little heart attack left her weak.

 • The little whittle dragon-elf slept for hours, resting a hole in the day. By the time she did awake, it was somewhere near the evening, her silver eyes fluttering open with a slight groan. She was feeling better, stirring a little before she rose up from the blankets.
