"Indeed. Victory! Now you are speaking my language, Anna! Victory is the key to happiness!"
It seemed Brutus had not caught the smile, or had chosen to ignore it.
"What man can stand to lose? I cannot, that is for sure. And you? Can you stand to lose? I doubt this is a one gender thing."

“Loss is part of life. Can’t win every time. Don’t need to, either. Even in defeat there can be victory in learning how to better yourself.” She remarked, drawing close to him again.
-
"No- you cannot better yourself in defeat. In defeat? You are dead. Stabbed, choked or ripped apart, there is no victory in defeat." Brutus sighed, seemingly getting tired of having to think upon the past. Noticing she drew closer, he kept his ground, deciding that her sharp tongue was the only threat.
-
“Death and defeat aren’t the same outside of the ring, you know? Defeat’s a teacher. It shows you what you need to practice.” She cooed, circling him again.
-
"You lie! Your first defeat may not lead to death in this world, but it is only a matter of time. Soon enough you'll end up with-" He pointed the trident at Anna, and turned it so that the left point would end up in her throat, should he lunge forward. "Pain, should you not die. Victory is everything, and yet, one must risk their life to earn it." Brutus placed the trident's butt back on the ground, and the black holes in his helm turned away from the woman's face. "Only the strong survive. Those who cannot carry their own weight will be crushed under it."
-
“And the strong do survive. They survive by learning from their mistakes. Experience is the best teacher.” She remarked, slipping to the side of the trident, and placing her hands on his arm as she spoke softly into his ear.
-
"Do you have a death wish, fool?" He jerked her away from his side with another light nudge. It was clear that she would not back off for the time being, so he tried firing a question at her. "Don't you have better things to do? Certainly you were in a rush before."
-
“No, actually. I was here to socialize... getting to my place can wait.” She remarked, instantly coming back to him.
-
It appeared to Brutus that the woman at his arm would not stay back no matter his tries to keep her away. So for now he kept her there, his arm stiff, and stretched farther away from him so that Anna was not against Brutus. "Socialize, huh? I've seen your type, 'oh I just want to talk' they say- and soon you have a knife in your ribs."
-
“So much distrust... you need to relax.” She cooed. “Does little old me look able to fight big strong you?” She asked, flashing puppy-dog eyes.
-
"But I've answered that already!" This time, Brutus simply pulled away and pushed Anna off his arm, instead of backing, choosing to backpedal away. With a huff, he turned around and decided to walk off, seeing as nothing short of that would keep the woman off him.
End?

Yeah if you’re good ending here.
She smirked to herself as he walked off, setting off to do some more exploring.
