"Are you certain, Miss? You... would not rather have me refer to you as a title? Ma'am, Mistress, Miss..."
Well... that was a first. Usually, Aria just called strangers and superiors by something formal, even if she was likely older than them -- it was just out of respect, really.
English
-
"You may call whatever you wish then. I really don't have a preference honestly."says azaleas she honestly didn't she have one. Her age however was way up there. She just never told it very often.
-
"Mmhm, very well, Mistress." Ariawyn nodded curtly once more, her dependence on her staff will very noticeable even in the middle of conversing. The dragon-elf shut her eyes for just a split second, sighing deeply after... the magic she was throwing around made her feel a tad fatigued.
-
"Would you like to rest you look a bit unsteady."says azalea azalea could that she was tired.
-
"I... yes, that would be quite quaint." Aria only got sleepier and sleepier, her eyes drifting shut again, slowly fluttering to a close... only to fly back open. "My deepest... apologies- *yaaaawn* -Mistress, for being in such an abundantly fatigued state during our first time meeting."
-
"It's quite alright my camp where i stay isn't that far from here."says azalea azalea's place where she had been staying was a make shift camp in the woods near a small creek. As azalea like being near the water.
-
Another yawn escaped Aria, the girl sluggishly nodding in response as she meekly smiled at the woman. It was dangerous and all to go with strangers, but the little dragon could take care of herself, for sure. "Okay," She hummed with a quick nod, her right arm wrapping around her staff, propping it up in between her body and her elbow while she leaned on it.
-
azalea wasn't much of a threat though as she wouldn't hurt someone without a good reason too. But azalea leads her to where she's been staying in the woods which wasn't too fancy as it was a simple campsite near a stream. Her tent was under the shade of a large hemlock and pine tree. The tent actually had a lot more in it than it looked on the outside. Near the tent sat a small campfire that was safely positioned in a way that nothing would catch on fire.
-
When Azalea started leading the way, Ariawyn first unhooked her arm from her staff, her hand wrapping around the leather-wrapped part of it once more. Then, she started following her new mentor with a slow pace, walking carefully while using her stave to support herself and not fall over, the bottom rhythmically tapping on the stone tiles of the ground. When the two arrived at the mermaid's campsite, the dragon-elf pushed a soft, short sigh of relief out, soon standing at Azalea's side with a small, reserved smile.
-
"It's nothing fancy but it's comfy enough for me.''says azalea as she had walked over to the campfire and sat down setting her staff against her tree. "You can rest in the tent if you wish i don't mind."says azalea
-
"Simply splendid," Aria responded with a short, curt nod to accompany her words as she started walking towards the tent, slow and careful in each of her steps. "Again, Mistress, you have my deepest gratitude for this." She smiled at Azalea, giving her a last look before disappearing into the tent, taking her staff with her. She entered by first getting on all fours, then crawling inside, minding her legs a tad more than she probably should've, arms doing most of the lifting.
-
Azalea would look at as she entered the tent. It was fairly comfy and simple inside a battery powered lantern lighting tent. There was a soft bedroll im the back where she could rest.
-
Ariawyn crawled onto the bedroll, legs firmly together as she laid on her side, staff held in her arms and close to her chest, silver eyes slowly shutting. She didn't bother to cover herself in a blanket, instead opting to just hide away in her robes, the enchanted cloth more than capable of keeping her warm.
-
when she did wake up azalea would be sitting in same spot. she left her in but she would have her eyes closed but she was clearly meditating for the moment as she didn't actually sleep on land.
-
Aria remained silent and still, currently seated right before the entrance of the tent, her staff laid across her lap, hands tenderly wrapped around the wood. She watched her mentor curiously, not actually saying anything because she didn't want to disturb the mermaid.
-
Azalea had opened her eyes not long after with a relaxed sigh. She had smiled when looked over at her. "Feeling better now that you have rest?"says azalea
-
"Mhm." She nodded, a smile spreading across her pink lips, her canines surprisingly cute despite them being razor-sharp triangles. A dragon, for sure... "It was wondrous, Ma'am. Thank you."
-
"You're very welcome. "Says azalea she took notice of this her own teeth very sharp but not as pointy.
-
Aria just smiled and nodded, going quiet and sticking to it as she sat there, her gaze breaking away from Azalea after a few moments, silver eyes looking down at her own hands. She firmly placed them together, her palms hollowed to make it seem like she was holding something... then, when her hands broke apart, a little warm yellow light was left in place.

Edited by NightBloomsFell: 11/28/2017 6:42:47 PM"Simply splendid.. would you like to see some of my spells that haven't been seen in a while in my book of spells."says azalea as she watches her summon the ball of light. She was impressed by her skills.
-
However, on closer inspection... it would seem there was more to the ball of light. It darted over to Azalea, hoovering right in front of her face, and she could see that it was actually a little faerie, fluttering around with butterfly-like wings. "Oh, I would love to!" She couldn't help but let a little burst of excitement out, even as she calmed herself down with a good few deeeeep breaths, simply left smiling after.
-
she chuckles a bit then whistle and two tiny flying lizards appearing carrying a large worn book between them but they lizard they were a small dwarfed down versions of dragons but they had almost the same wings as the little faerie but there were array of hot pink, black, and blue colors setting it in her lap with a squeak as they land on either of her shoulders.
-
The little faerie disappeared in a slight flash of yellow light when Ariawyn snapped the fingers on her right hand, the little spirit waving at Azalea with its right hand before it vanished. The dragon-elf's attention was almost immediately snatched up by the book, silver eyes focused on it intently, though she remained silent.
-
"This book is very old. But you should be able to read almost all of it expect the one written in ancient mer."says azalea she the holds the book out for her to look at. It was covered in the skin of a old sea serpents. The interior pages yellowed with age.
-
"Uhm," The little mage started hesitantly, her eyes hopelessly darting over the pages presented to her, trying to decipher the infinitely foreign language she saw, unless to comprehend or understand. "M-Mistress, I do not know this language..." She very carefully flipped the page, eyes still moving over the English text, very much desperately as her gaze zigzagged over the yellowed paper. She just couldn't understand, no matter how much she racked her brain, no matter how hard she tried... It might as well have been gibberish for her.
-
"Oh my mistake hang on."says azalea She said something in another language and it became very legible. As it was now in a language that she could read.
