The fatherly Russian made a lengthy 'hmm' noise as he thought, pausing to take a sip of his rum, only to pass the bottle back to Alpha again.
"I'm sorry to hear that," Was all that he managed eventually, still so very bad at conversation like this -- it just felt weird to him.

"...Don't be." She said, having some sort of private reason for saying such

Edited by Nibber Schipper: 11/26/2017 1:23:33 PMAnother 'hmm' came from Jason, his right hand moving up to his face, fingertips lightly tapping along his manly man jawbone. He didn't really respond with anything, instead just sinking away into his own thoughts and memories, reminiscing of his own past.
-
"I'm gonna go now." She said, standing up. Her voice was ever so slightly slurred, so it might not be a good idea to let her park her ship yet.
-
Jason carefully tugged her back down, the action carrying just enough force to bring her back down onto her ass but not enough to hurt, even if it was undoubtedly a tad uncomfortable. "While you're drunk? You're not parking your ship just yet."
-
"Hey!" She said, protesting the action "Whaddya mean? I'm not drunk...."
-
"Tipsy, then. Either way, I wouldn't let you drive a car let alone fly a fuсking spaceship." While Alpha was... drunk or whatever, Jason still seemed to be completely and utterly sober, his Russian genes well at work.
-
"Thas not fair!" She said after taking another swig "You ga' me tha'..." For some reason her accent was becoming more slavic the more intoxicated and slurred her voice got
-
Hearing the accent with his expert Russian ears, he couldn't help but laugh quietly and heartily, his left hand giving Alpha a soft-yet-firm pat on the back. Jason grinned wide, snatching the rum away to take a sip of his own before passing the bottle back. "Exactly."
-
She took another sip, starting to sway. "You know....I shol go to a furconention and shit..." She said, laughing, her words becoming more and more obscured by the accent and her now actually drunk self "I'd be a fuggin famous pershon..."
-
He let out another laugh, an amused glint in his eyes and a wide grin on his lips. Jason gave an eager nod of agreement, though he did definitely note than Alpha was getting shit-faced, to put it eloquently. "Ahahaha! Yeah, you would be for fuсkin' sure... could start charging for autographs and shit; you'd make bank." In the meantime, he absentmindedly transported a plastic liter bottle of cold, fresh water into his right hand, swiftly undoing the cap before presenting it to his goat friend.
-
"Yah....heh..." She nodded with a laugh, taking a sip and spilling some onto the front of her armor "oopsy.....has anyone told you that you're so weird?" She said with a laugh "You talk to a goat hoo can talk..."
-
He laughed with Alpha when she asked that so very odd question, the innocence of it bringing a smile to his old, grizzled face. Jason had his friend take another sip of water, planning on making her drink at least half the bottle so she wouldn't feel too miserable in the morning. "Heheheh... you know, I may be weird, but you're the weirdest of us both... after all, you're the goat I'm talking to."
-
She nodded and then took another sip "Ahm a monster....thang 'ou" She said, belching loudly "No'ody seem to know tha'"
-
Jason continued to feed Alpha little sips and swigs of the water for a good few moments, being careful not to accidentally drown her. It was heartwarming, how gentle and thoughtful he was... at least, it would've been if the goat hadn't been so very drunk. "Heheh, yeah..."
-
"being a furreh is lonely....." She said matter of factly "I don't have a lot of friendsh..."
-
"You know, Alpha, I'll talk about that with you tomorrow, when you've slept the alcohol off, alright? I've got an idea already..." Indeed, Jason had a rather... niche idea, but it would certainly help Alpha with her problems -- after all, he had a ship filled to the brim with sci-fi BS, a super genius brother, and he wasn't exactly stupid himself, either.
-
"I knoweh......If u can lemme go I can fix this..." She said. She WAS formerly a medic, so it was possible she could indeed fix this
-
"Nah, I can fix it myself." Without further ado, Alpha was lifted up and off the ground, Jason's right arm by the back of her knees, left around her lower back, keeping her in a bridal position. He got up and off the ground with a slight groan, starting to walk after.
-
She started humming the main chorus of "Snake Eater" then, laughing every now and again. "Such a.....uh....gentleman...yeah...that's it"
-
"I do my best," He responded rather simply, walking with a brisk pace, the scenery soon changing from nature and such to the walls of the Dojo, and soon, the hangar.
-
"W-what are....you doing?" She asked, frowning
-
"Getting you to a bed so you can sleep the alcohol off. Why do you think I made you drink that water? It's so you won't be wishing you were dead when you wake up." Hangovers did indeed suck, and as a Russian, he probably knew that very well.
-
"C-can you stay with me?" She said, her voice quavering as fear crept into her face. "I-I.....n-n-no...I'm...nightmares...god...n-no..."
-
"Stay with ya? Yeah, sure, I can do that... just don't expect me to crawl under the sheets with you." Jason chuckled quietly, his soft silver eyes glancing down at Alpha with an almost... paternal look in them. Even if the goat was technically much, much older than the Russian, he couldn't help but feel a tad like a dad. Just a tad.

Alpha smiled, seeming more calm. "T-Thangs....." She said, sighing
