“Rather rude, now isn’t it?”
The woman replied, sizing up the individual who had approached.
Despite not having her own armor on, the woman showed no sign of intimidation or any surprise at Alpha’s appearance.
“Expect the unexpected. Sometimes there are stranger things than talking goats.”
Boy oh boy was that true...
She’d seen an angry Lucien.
English

And yet, Alpha bore on of Lucien's favorite calling cards: a hebrew brand. If Widow knew anything about it, she'd be able to read it as "Liar." Didn't seem like Lucien to brand her thus for petty reasons. "I have a habit of saying the first thing that pops in my head. Name's Alpha."
-
“Brand reads Liar... not something anyone would carry around willingly...” She did not hint at her knowledge of Lucien, but she made it clear that she wanted to know what the deal with the brand was.
-
"And not something that this someone is willing to divulge." She said, going on the defensive
-
“I understand. We’ve all got our own scars.” She’d shifted into a more friendly and sincere attitude. That was her backup for handling people. If she couldn’t flirt, she took up a more motherly and caring role.
-
Which, as coincidence would have it, would be the same role Alpha had gone without for years. It shocked her and put her off her guard "What?"
-
“If you don’t want to talk about it, I won’t force you to. I’ve been through my fair deal of rough things, and I don’t like talking about them.” She said. What Alpha wouldn’t know was that this was in large measure a facade. However there was some sincerity in her words, for she too was familiar with what Lucien could do.
-
"That's a change of pace. Most people here wouldn't stop till I told them." She said blankly
-
“Most people don’t understand psychological and physical trauma.” She said with a shrug.
-
"Yeah. Yeah I...understand. It's actually how I got the brand. One of lucien's uh.....Proteges?"
-
She nodded. “You were one of his experiments?” She asked, taking a bit of a leap, to test the waters.
-
"If he also goes by "The Boogeyman", yes. I had to completely bypass my own means of speech to talk again." In truth, she did sound slightly modular
-
“That... that sounds like him.” She said, a slight shiver visible in her movement. “But I don’t think he goes by “The Boogeyman...””
-
"Whoever it was....they'll suffer if I ever see them again and get my way."
-
“Just don’t get yourself killed.” She said, a sincere statement.
