JT intercepted him mid-jump.

What did he do with the split shotgun?

Gun's barrel was split; Sawed off attachment, homemade edition.
-
Lets just roll with it
He saw JTs fist coming so right when it grabbed him, he attached several thermal destroyers to the arm. With his left arm he clasped the arm holding him, testing its durability.
-
JT saw the bombs, but he also saw Zane gripping it. From there he had a... Cheeky, idea. The arm detached internally at the ball joint of the shoulder after JT's grip on Zane tightened, and the explosive-lined limb fell off the roof of the train, clutching Zane's wrist tightly.
-
Edited by Zane the 3rd: 11/27/2017 12:36:22 AMThe bombs started to glow so he knew he had to act fast. He used his augmented strength to grab into the train, then threw himself back into the roof. When he landed, he came up with a risky plan. His armor started to hiss, steam emitting from it as he overclocked his suits perimeters and created a smoke screen, hiding his location from JT. The cowboy heard a hiss, and could see the suit flying right at him, the bombs glowing brighter by the second.
-
JT wasn't an idiot like most days, rather he sprinted away and slid in the gap between two carts, the force from the blast sending him through the door even quicker. He rolled to a stop and drew his revolver, using his TagSight augment to watch a tagged Zane move about.
-
He saw Zane on one knee, crouched with his HTI sniper rifle aimed right at the Cowboy. A shot rang out, a .50 BMG bullet headed right at JT.
-
The Marshal only had a moment to react to Zane when he saw the raised gun, though a quick dive to the left was enough to make Zane miss the target and the bullet almost graze JT's back. He retaliated by quickly bringing his revolver up and shooting Zane twice, his accuracy pinpoint as the bullets flew for his chest.
-
He fired off two quick shots, his own bullets colliding with JTs. He fired off another shot at the cowboy, this time aiming for his other arm.
-
JT had the fastest hand in the west; He jerked it to the side as the shot narrowly missed him, though it hit a piece of wood behind him and sent splinters all through his back. He proceeded to fire off the other four shots at Zane, all the while he stood.
-
He released the grip on his sniper, drawing his buster sword and using it like a shield. He stood up as well, his sniper rifle hanging from its strap.
-
JT holstered his revolver and grabbed his Plasso, holding it by his side as he approached Zane.
-
He lowered the buster sword, aiming it at JT as it glowed. He pressed the button on the grip, and a bright laser beam shot out at the cowboy.
-
The laser cut about a quarter way through his upper torso and left one hell of an injury, which prompted JT to use a speed reloader to get his shots for his revolver back, and he sent out two shots for Zane's head.

Edited by Zane the 3rd: 11/28/2017 5:32:20 PMZane saw the shots coming, so his training kicked in and he swung the buster sword with Grace, cutting one of the bullets in half while the other found it's way into his right shoulder. Blood trickled from the wound and mixed with his sweat, which dripped onto the ground. He sheathed his blade onto his back and drew LionHeart, holding it with his prostetic arm. "With all that tech, do you consider yourself still human?" He asked the cowboy
-
"-blam!- off with your philosophy dude," JT said, rolling his eyes at Zane's words. He still had four shots and a gun aimed at Zane, but would indulge him in a small bit of banter for a moment.
-
"So rude, it was only a question....Why so hostile?" He walked slowly with his blade drawn, one eye on the cowboys face while the other was watching the gunslingers weapon, Zane’s hand basically twitching to be ready to counter any shot the cowboy might make. While he may not be able to match JT’s speed, he could combat it with his own and limit the damage.
-
JT didn't step forwards, rather he stepped backwards, moving towards the end of this particular train cart. "What, you want me to get a bottle o' wine for a conversation? Maybe rent a hotel for after? It's a fight, why'd I show ya friendship and not be aggressive?"
-
"You're being too aggressive for my taste. Every other tournament I've participated in, they never went for so many kill shots. Trying to use my own bombs to blow myself up, aiming to splatter my brains, it just don't sit right. Fights like these are suppose to be fun, a way to test your limits and find a way to break them." He watched JT's movements like a hawk, he could see the end of the car that he was backing up to, glancing back at it for half a second to know the distance, which looked to be about 5 feet.He had an idea of what JT was planning, so he began thinking of his own.
-
"Well, I ain't a fighter for fun." JT reflected on the old days and stopped moving. He looked back not to his days in Cylak, but to the times in Cedyetica. He remembered the VR tournament that he, Etana, Lance, Raze and others signed on for. He remembered Etana's hack and the glove he used to do it, and he eerily recalled a defeat... ...And JT remembered a vow to never be so weak again. "Ain't how we did things back home."
-
"Well one things for sure, you and I came from very different homes...." He then suddenly charged at JT, throwing his arm forward and sent his gunblade flying in a spiral motion towards the cowboy. As soon as the blade left his hand, Zane rushed to draw his buster sword, withdrawing it swiftly.
-
JT felt the gunblade hit against his metallic skin and pierce through entirely, cutting deep into his body before falling to the floor where it clattered. The Marshal responded by firing three shots: One to each of Zane's knees, and one to his chest. That left one in the chamber.
-
Zane luckily had his massive buster sword at the ready, and he twisted his blade so that the steel covered his vital area from the Bullet that would kill him. The other bullets found their way through his knees, sending fragments of bone from Zane’s left knee while the other would do the same to his right knee. As Zane yelled in pain while he fell, he pointed his buster sword straight down, impaling the ground. Then, with the shot of his laser, he was sent flying into the sky, escaping JT’s line of sight.
-
JT grinned - Tag Sight was still online. His hands moved autonomously to the figure of Zane, his eyes looking to the sky where he was. The trigger was pulled, and a bullet was sent at him. The last bullet.
