After Mass Effect: Andromeda and Star Wars: Battlefront II, can we write off EA as a company incapable of releasing a quality product? Quality is apparently not part of the company's culture. I don't see why we should expect Anthem to be any less of a disaster than these two games. At least EA still has sports titles.
For reference, here's the sad story of Mass Effect: Andromeda:

And here are the review scores for Star Wars: Battlefront II:

Need for Speed Payback also looks like a crap game, but who hadn't written off that franchise?
I haven't played Battlefront 2 and likely never will, but I've heard that it is a solid game. A greedy, money-centric progression system guarantees that I will never buy the game, but it looked pretty solid otherwise. Andromeda on the other hand was ridiculed for being broken/buggy. I really hope Anthem isn't some P2W trash like Battlefront 2, but I highly doubt that will happen. This time next year gamers everywhere will be enjoying Anthem's P2W progression and Destiny 2's transition to P2W when the $40 DLC launches next year.
