"Fine by me, kid. Been a while since I had a little one to look after... it'll be nice."
The end of his sentence trailed off into a quiet mumble as he focused on making MJ's food, doing it with a smile on his lips.

Alpha nodded, smiling "Thanks."
-
"No problem." In the silence that followed, he dumped the chicken and the herbs that flavoured it into a large, metal bowl, the thing easily the size of a... small dog. He topped the chicken with some freshly chopped salad, after which he whistled sharply. "MJ!"
-
Alpha laughed "Well....when are we gonna start with the training? Since the tourney's close and all."
-
"Oh, right... the tournament. I forgot about that, even though I fuсkin' signed up. Uh, we can start the training once you've had your breakfast and once MJ STOPS BEING A LAZY FUСKBAG!" And that did the trick. While MJ refused to come over before, now that Jason actually started yelling, he hurried on over, entering through the same doorway Alpha had. He slyly barked at the Russian, which only got him a stern stare and a prying finger pointed at him. "Eat you little shit," He muttered, placing the bowl down at his feet, though once the wolf-hound came over to start eating, Jason lovingly scratched him behind the ears, a slight smile playing around his lips.
-
"Tough love, huh?" She asked, taking another bite. Alpha had quite the appetite, eating through the whole thing quickly. "Damn, you really can cook."
-
He didn't really respond at first, though the question about tough love did get a noticeable grin out of the tough old man. He squatted down, lightly running his fingers through MJ's fur, the dog laying his head on Jason's right shoulder in response. "Thank you, Alpha. I do my best."
-
She sighed happily, leaning back and relaxing. "I know a thing or two as well.....I just need to get my shit from my ship." She tapped her wrist, and a beep came from the metal implant there.
-
"Would probably be for the best, yeah. I trust that you won't crash into something?" He laughed quietly and to himself, a very slight grin playing around his lips as he continued to bathe MJ in attention and affection both. Clearly, he really liked dogs... but then again, who didn't?
-
"Autopilot." She said simply "I was too drunk to remember it."
-
"Good job," He dryly remarked, giving MJ a little pat on the neck before getting back up, the dog quick to dig into his food... after shoving the cabbage aside.
-
"you try getting that drunk and remembering something." She protested
-
"The thing with that is that I absolutely can't get drunk. Side effect of all my cybernetics and augments, I suppose."
-
"I can't help but get drunk if I so much as try one bottle of...anything, actually. It's just a side effect of my species...I think." She frowned "We're certainly not able to take strong drink."
-
"Not even Coors light? I swear, shit's just like water, except it tastes like piss..." He grumbled a little, moving away from MJ and over to Alpha, pulling out the chair opposite of her and plopping down on it. He didn't make himself any food, though that was probably because he already ate... since it was about 3 PM.

Edited by GRUNT OVERLORD: 11/29/2017 3:18:15 AM"Yeah. Though on the bright side, I can smoke whatever the -blam!- I want because no cancer." She said, taking out the pack of cigs from her pants pocket and lighting one with a bit of fire from the tip of her finger.
-
"Same, same. Won't really get cancer because I've got cybernetic lungs going for me, though I guess my throat and such can still be affected." He shrugged, not really all too interested or worried about where he could get cancer and where he couldn't get cancer. Nonchalantly, he pulled a blunt from one of his pockets, lighting it with a built-in lighter.
-
"How can you smoke that shit?" She asked "At least tobacco doesn't affect judgement."
-
"It's pretty good, to be honest. Calms the nerves and eases the pain." He did mention arthritis earlier, so that was likely the pain he spoke about. Jason let out a little groan, sitting back in his chair as he took a deep breath of the blunt.
-
"There are non-narcotic treatments for Arthritis." She pointed out
-
"Even then, I still have PTSD to worry about." He retorted with a glance towards Alpha, slowly exhaling the smoke after.
-
"...and I don't?" She asked, without any accusation. "Jason.....I was tortured. I was knocked up because I was a furry. I was knocked up by the only other man I ever considered to be family." She said, quietly
I hope to whatever deity is there that you meant knocked ON instead of up
"Exactly, so I'd understand you of all people to know that PTSD is a pain in the аss," He said in return, his right eyebrow shooting upwards. "I'm not gonna rant about what happened to me, but things did happen."
