Chapter Three
The Siege for Khalosh
Closed.
Fire.
Flames darted across the broken city, the wild wrath of the terrible substance raging throughout the buildings and the streets in a flurry of chaotic destruction. A white miasma had spread across Khalosh and beyond, coating the city and rendering it null: guns, magic, technology.. all locked into place, or taken down. Trampling throughout the streets were cavalrymen and soldiers, pulling up the citizens, and subduing those whom came in their path.
All except for those golden lions.
Men and women, in separate uniforms of purple or white, clashed against each other with swords of steel and iron, or edged axes, or whatever they could find. Khalosh ran red with the blood of the fallen, as hours passed without an end to the ringing of metal and the clashing of blows. Soldier against soldier, warrior against warrior - those whom would call themselves the servants of the people and justice against the purple and gold lions of Trayve.
The clattering of hooves filled the air, as another cavalry horse would enter the fray. Only.. it's armoring was gilded with ornament and light gold, it's steel plating befitting of a member of a heavier cavalry, not one for maneuvering through the burning Khalosh. It's rider was adorned in the armoring of a knight, his magnificent purple shawl flying against ash and the wind, the previously shining steel of his armoring now an ashen black color. In his hands was a longsword, corrupted by something more than himself as black and red veins ran throughout the center, up from the guard to the tip - yet perfect, seemingly crafted for his hand.
How many had he killed? How many had he ended? How fanatical were they?
The knight was suddenly forced to depart as his horse whined in agony, as a woman from below had stuck it's underbelly with a spear before she was trampled by the horse's might. The polearm ripped through flesh, a shower of blood trailing from the steed as it skidded across the ground, the knight forced to depart. He clashed against the ground, groaning before rising and finding himself surrounded by the men and women in white..
"Damned murderer!"
"You will pay, lion!"
"Here is their prince, oh terrible Arthur!"
Arthur Trayven wouldn't speak or deny their claims and would have attacked, had a pommel not slammed against his head, knocking him out in a single blow.

Two days later..
Open to all. Replying to this will allow you to participate in the siege.
ASSIGNED ROLES:
Vanguard
JT (JT, lol)
Star (Cthulhu)
Cain Coldbourne (Pants)
Eddie Tobias (Ginger)
Issac (Frog)
These characters will be handling the front lines for some time. I would ask that you use characters that are good on offense or defense, you'll be ripping through the enemy for a bit.
Isabella Trayven (The one and Orny)
Assault
Freya/Trayven Reinforcements (It-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named)
Alric/Dojo Warriors (Royal)
Gilliam/Imperium (Emperino)
Athena (Valkyries)
These characters are leading their select factions throughout the fighting and taking key zones. Factions aren't required, but you will get outnumbered and killed if you play stupid.
Assassins/High-Priority Target Eliminators
Traci (Cthulhu)
There are a select number of Tribune individuals that need to be wiped out in this siege to truly call it successful, lol. These individuals are on the scale of mini-bosses, so be careful.
Pending
Amanda (Jen)
Rose (Jen)
Natalie (JT)
Lilly (Pants)

Signups end on Thursday night, Central Time. So roughly eight for me.
"Khalosh. They're in Khalosh.."
Freya murmured to herself, sighing as she studied the message sent to her by a scout. The Trayvens, or roughly half of them, had moved out of the Dojo, now packing an additional dome around the large-scale convoy that they had taken onwards to Ollimand. She had succeeded in guessing where the Tribune's forces were..
Now she needed either more support, or confirmation from a few individuals.
you should assign the cleric-hating edgelord yo
-
literally what would she be, vanguard?
-
>she I meant discount Guts, and yeah, he definitely would be since he's all melee.
-
Discount Guts? ...could it be the one and only.
-
Babylon? Nah, the possessed edgelord.
-
Damn. Though if he wants his possessed armor.. thing staying (it would come back afterwards, but still), probably best that he asks for an audience outside the base.
-
how do that because he can't exactly take it off
-
then he def better not go into the dome thingy listen just reply by asking for an audience and i'll make him an anti anti-mage boi

...maybe, anyway.
-
What dome thingy
-
Ya'll mind if I

help out the attack on the Dojo
A single Imperial shuttle would descend from the sky, escorted by two TIE fighters. As it touched down just outside Khalosh, Korsis stepped out, followed by four Death Troopers. "Cover me and make sure that there isn't anything suspicious." The troopers nodded and formed a line with Korsis in the center. Korsis turned to whisper something to one of the troopers. Moments later, their weapons were raised as Korsis made his way into the city.
-
Korsis would find that the border of Khalosh was entirely engulfed with a slowly thickening fog, and as he would enter.. boom. He felt his connection to the Force drain away, whatever firearms that he may have had suddenly clicked and locked, while his lightsaber seemed to shut down entirely. Somehow.. These invaders had seized control by forcing others onto their scale of combat. He would not be greeted by this outside force, not yet. Korsis could hear horses whining in the distance, followed by the clattering of hooves, marching, and chatter. Scouts had spotted the Imperial arrival.
-
Korsis grunted as the troopers dropped their guns and grabbed electrified batons from their belts. "Damn magic. OI! OUT THERE, ON THE HORSE! FACE ME!" He drew a small dagger out of his cloak, the point barely poking out of his sleeve.
-
Even the batons had been rendered null, although they were still effective aa blunt weapons yet. Horses would circle around Korsis and his units, followed by a small group of infantry, about ten. Yet they were armed, with gem-embedded pistols, steel short swords and axes, and shining steel armoring. "Hold." One muffled knight would speak, towards Korsis.
-
"I'm here to talk with whoever is charge, knight. I would be pleased if you could lead me to him, or her." Korsis bowed slightly as he spoke. He may be edgy, but he had manners.
-
Edited by Weeaboo Of War: 11/30/2017 1:07:23 AM"Most would send advisors and ambassadors, not guarded dropships. But.. fine." The cavalry horse would turn, as the circling units would motion for Korsis to follow the men on horseback. It was either that, or.. attempt an escape, if he found it too hopeless.
-
Korsis would follow, letting the dagger slip back into his sleeve. The Death Troopers stayed wary of the soldiers, however, forming a square around their leader.
-
yo assign Alpha to some shit
-
She seems fitting for Assault/Assassin. That cool?
-
sure
-
...How should I reply to this? I’m thinking of using Zera and my new Jedi for this...unless that’s too OP.
-
...both would get nerfed down, lol. I'm worse than Bungie with nerfs. *nerfs fusion rifles for a third time*
-
Lol, How nerfed are we talking? Zera has her kitana, and a robotic arm that gives her a little more strength. My Padawan only has force push and her lightsaber. Also, maybe I should make her ship a crash site in this post...
-
Zera would need to chat with Freya about her robotic arm, so she can use it later on. The Padawan would have to run with legitimate melee weapons, at least for a bit.
-
Alright then. Fine with me. Should I start this convo or do you want to?
-
You can if you want, lol.
