Hel snorted in genuine amusement at the crude joke Natalie slipped into her response, a slight grin coming out to play around her lips, the corners ever so slightly curled up in amusement. Her eyes twinkled with mild delight, head turning to look at Nat completely, though it also cocked ever so slightly to the right.
"Police's really that bad? Man, no wonder ya've got more terrorists than civs, eh? Gods... Anyways, would've probably just shot myself if the feds had managed t'caught me -- best way t'escape, eas'ly. Also, yea, 'criminal' would be accurate, bein' honest."

Nat just kinda plopped down on the couch beside her.
-
A silence settled in, broken only by their mutual breathing and Helena occasionally taking a sip of her water. It wasn't awkward, though, but rather... pleasant.
-
Nat eventually turned on the TV, starting up some shows she had recorded onto a box.
-
"So then, considerin' how easygoin' ya are with a definite criminal, I take it ya've some familiarity with violence 'n all that crap?"
-
"Yeah, a fair bit. I tend to keep more towards a less... Aggressive route, with how I do things."
-
"I just prefer t'shoot things in the face. Or t'blow 'em up. Or both." A simple woman. She just shrugged, making a bit of an "oh well" gesture with her hands. "But y're a sneaky beaky, then?"
-
"Yeah. It's a lot less messy."
-
"I see, I see... Stealth's not m'thing, even 'f I can go full chameleon..."
-
"Full chameleon?"
-
Instead of explaining, Helena decided to demonstrate, instead, the skin that was visible - including her hair - taking the colours of her surroundings, causing her to blend in as she shifted her cell composition to be akin to that of a literal chameleon. "Like so."
-
"...That's -blam!-ing dope." Was all Nat could manage to say.
-
"Thanks," Hel responded with a grin on her face as she returned to normal, her golden eyes carrying a delighted twinkle.
-
"Do you do that with your biomass thing?"
-
"Sure did! 'Tis a lov'ly power, I tell ya."
-
"What do you usually use it for?"
-
"Not dyin'," Came her awfully simplistic reply. "Since 't heals me."
-
"Oh. So you've never, I dunno, -blam!-ed with people using it?"
-
"Oh, of course I've! It'd be a shame 'f I didn't use m'shapeshiftin' t'juke some folks."
-
"Heh. Lucky you."
-
Helena just smiled, nodding in appreciation.
-
"So..."
-
Helena looked back over to Natalie, head tilting to the side. "So?"
-
"Sooo what do we do now?"
-
"I've absolut'ly no idea."
-
"Normally a conversation doesn't last this long for me. Either I walk away or its a friend with benefits, or a fight."
