"Don't worry about it," Nat said as she shook Lyn's hand.
"So, when do we head out?"

Lyn's shake had a lot of grip and confidence behind it as she chuckled. "We were hoping to go the instant someone arrived. Are you ready to go?" "We've been waiting a while..." Arty piped in.
-
"Yeah, lead on. Are we walking to the monsters?" Nat asked, not out of laziness, but rather because she hadn't brought a car or anything.
-
Artemis nodded and gestured to the forests nearby over her shoulder. "We're going to walk in there, climb the trees and hunt down some hell hounds. You can climb, right? You seem capable..."
-
"Yeah, of course."
-
"Then let's go." Artemis and Lyn turned away from Natalie, beginning to walk toward the trees in the distance. ~~~~~Sometime after~~~~~~ The trio had arrived at the forests and were already a good distance in before Artemis jumped up onto a branch randomly. "Alright, we should start climbing. Some of the beasts out here aren't exactly friendly and it'll be easier to spot the hounds from up here."
-
Nat took the staff from her hand and ran to a tree, before she jumped up. She put a foot on the tree and kicked herself off, where she jammed the sharp end of her staff into a weaker crevice of the tree, which she kicked herself off again. When she was in a stable branch and sitting calmly, she looked to Lyn and Artemis.

Artemis smirked at Lyn before jumping all the way up to Nat in a single, impossibly large leap. She landed with grace on a branch beside Natalie. "Well...I'm out classed in tree climbing." Lyn commented. The woman used her two swords to jam into the tree, climbing slowly up. It took her longer than Natalie and Artemis, but she'd eventually get up there with them. "Took ya long enough, slow-poke." Artemis joked, chuckling at Lyn. Lyn didn't look so amused at first, but cracked a smile after a moment. "Alright. I get it, I can't climb well. Now, I just realized we never figured out what the hell Natalie can do..."
-
"You'll see soon enough," Natalie teased, as she looked to Lyn with a grin. She didn't usually keep her powers hidden away, though with such an interest, she wanted to make the reveal a good one.

The two girls turned to each other and shrugged before heading out. They walked on top of the thick branches, moving from tree to tree with relative ease.
Probably should've described the trees. They're like the thickest redwoods, but even taller and thicker with more branches and large leaves with brown bark.
-
Nat joined the two and followed behind. She was agile enough to stay in the trees though she wasn't doing any running or anything.
-
Nat and Lyn seemed to be on the same page, but Artemis was inhuman with her ability to jump and run all over the branches. She kept ahead most of the time as if scouting. "Is she on some sort of drugs or something...?" Lyn jested, laughing lightly.

-
"Same here." Lyn and Natalie would eventually lose Artemis altogether. "...Where the hell did she go? Why doesn't anyone just stick to the group anymore?"
-
"Oh God damn it."
-
Lyn sighed stopped walking to observe their surroundings. "And she was our guide too....I have no idea where the hell I am. Nat. Can I call you Nat? Do you have any magical stuff that could help?"
-
"-blam!-, if I had one then I wouldn't have to hunt for money. I'd be selling maps."
-
"Oooof course...." Lyn grunted and began to walk forward. "Well, let's just keep going? Have to find her or the way out eventually."
-
"That works for me. Lead on, guide-in-command."
-
"Onward, my friend!" Lyn marched forward only for the branch she stepped on to crack and break. "F*ck..." She fell several dozen feet, hitting numerous branches on her way down.
-
Natalie had managed to jump off as well, straightening her body to be almost pencil-like so that she fell faster. It took a lot to land with a roll and catch Lynn on the way down, though she managed it.
-
Lyn groaned as she lay on the ground, wincing from the pain. "Ow..."
-
"Do you feel any breaks or sprains?" Nat asked Lynn, looking over her.
-
Lyn had some cuts and bruises on her legs and arms, but that was about it. The only real note worthy injury was a bleeding gash on her right cheek. "N-No...I don't think so." She sat up with a grunt.
-
Nat reached into her jacket and pulled out a small cloth, which she started to pat the wound with as to help with the bleeding.
-
"Thank you, Natalie. I don't look too banged up, do I?" Lyn managed a small chuckle despite having just fallen out of a tree.
