"Just trust me Lyn."
Nat ran up to the very top of a tree and stood on a branch, staring out at the beast. Now was her moment, rather, soon it would be.

"Okay...." Lyn stood her ground, claymore raised while the dinosaur drew near. The woman didn't actually look or act scared despite her sounding worried.
-
Nat waited for the creature to come close.
What's it look like?
-
I already described it. "Several hundred feet away there was a large creature that looked almost exactly like a spinosaurus except for carnotaurus' horns on its head."
The creature lowered its mouth as it got within only a dozen feet of Lyn, as if to try and pick her up and eat her.
-
Nat leapt into the air, using bursts of gravity clusters beneath her feet to propel her ever onwards to the dinosaur. Her body jerked right and went along the top of the rightmost horn, where she plunged her staff blade in between the base of it and the fleshy part of its skin.
-
The dino roared in pain and thrashed its head around, slamming the top of its head into a branch to try knocking Natalie off.
-
Nat came off fairly easily, but not before applying a burst of gravity to the tip of the horn, in attempt to loosen it. She flew into a tree and slid down onto a rather thick branch.
-
The giant creature's horn wiggled only a small amount, obviously well rooted into its head. Lyn rolled to the side as it swiped at her with one of its claws, instead smashing into the tree Natalie was in.
-
The tree collapsed up top and came crashing down, but she managed to alter the gravity field of the falling wood, keeping it suspended in zero gravity. There was a fair bit of wood, so she altered the gravity again and sent them flying over at the creature, hoping to get a bigger log straight into its mouth.
-
The dino caught the wood in its mouth and threw it all to the ground. Meanwhile; Lyn jumped onto the trunk of a tree and lauunched herself off of it, raising her sword and slashing the beast's side.
-
Nat was out of ideas and straight up started running away.
Gotta give me something to work with dude, c'mon. Can't just throw a dinosaur at me and expect me to know how to defeat it with a relatively new character :/
-
I don't know Nat's powers and limitations :P
Lyn followed Natalie, running from the creature as it screamed in pain before starting to chase.
-
Nat ran and ran, eventually tucking herself into a crevice between two rocks and under a dead tree. It was rather large, even for the other trees, so hopefully she would be able to hide away in the little cubby with Lyn.
-
Lyn jumped in with her, trying to control her breathing as the monster dino could be heard walking extremely close to where they were hiding. After a few seconds, Natalie and Lyn would hear a roar from the beast, a crash that sounded like several trees had fallen at once, and then complete silence.
-
Nat just waited silently. Internally she was flipping her shit, but externally she was quiet and still.
-
Lyn remained quiet as well for a minute or two before breaking the silence. "Do you think it's dead?"
-
"-blam!- do I hope."
-
"I'm going to check..." Lyn hopped out of the hole, a few moments later Nat heard her name. "Natalie? I think it's clear."
-
"Thank -blam!-," Nat said as she left the little cubby.
-
Outside was the dinosaur, dead. On top of it was Artemis, sitting on it with a nervous smile. "Heeey, guys...hehe...." Lyn was glaring at the wolf girl, unamused by how they were left behind.
-
"How the -blam!-...?"
-
Artemis pulled out a strange cylinder looking thing with a red button on it. Upon pressing the button, the familiar sound of a lightsaber turning on could be heard as a blue light shot out of it, forming a blade. "Surprise?" Lyn sighed. "I thought we were going to hold back, Artemis..." "Yeah well, how else was I going to kill a giant dinosaur? My bow?" "Could've at least used your power to kill it with fallen trees and say they just so happened to hit it."
-
"Okay, I'm going home. -blam!- the dinosaurs, -blam!- the dogs, and most importantly, -blam!- this unorganized ass group." Nat was, well, quite pissed. She was fairly easy to calm, but God damn was she not happy with anything today.
-
Lyn sighed. "Natalie, please calm down. I get that we've had a rough start, but....Yeah, let's go. Artemis, can you please just lead us out of here?" "Hey! Come on, we haven't even-" "Arty, you f*cking abandoned us, we almost got eaten by a f*cking magical *ss dinosaur, and now both Natalie and I want to go back."
-
"Why the hell did you guys come out here anyways? Why not just get the -blam!-ing army to roll in and take out the things here? Because it seems that people can tell them to do that shit these days."
-
Artemis laughed and shook her head. "That's dumb. Where's the fun in that?! I love hunting this sh*t!" Lyn rolled her eyes and began to walk away. "I'm just going to start walking and I'll slice through anything in my way or f*cking smite it or some sh*t."
