"Fiiine! Let's go."
Artemis started heading out, jumpiiing tree to tree. Lyn attempted to follow.

"Tch. Dang Wolf gonna leave us behind. Lyn! Keep up if you can!" Tyrian began jumping as well, though there was an obvious lack of speed and power behind them compared to Artemis. What he did have was balance, landing on every branch and stabilizing himself in seconds.
-
Lyn kept right behind Tyrian, easily keeping up with his speed. Artemis stopped running ahead after already almost being out of sight. "Why so slow?!" "Because not all of us are wolf girls!"
-
"Maybe you should slow yourself down a bit, yeah? I'm working up a sweat, and I haven't seen a monster anywhere..." It was true, too much excessive and jumping around would tire anyone out. That said, he also needed to save his energy for the fight ahead.
-
Artemis sighed and nodded. "Sorry, I forget not everyone can run around like I can." "Have to try and be more considerate, Arty." Lyn wasn't tiring much, despite the fact she couldn't move as fast as Artemis she had the endurance.
-
"Mhm... The real question is when those monsters are coming out. I have time, but I'd hope to get hope before dark. Take a nap." Tyrian shrugged, and leap from beach to beach to catch up to the now stopped Artemis.
-
Artemis observed her surroundings before turning back to the man. "Shouldn't be much further. No worries, you'll be home in time for dinner, my friend."
-
"Let's hope monster meat tastes good..." Tyrian grumbled to himself, most of the trip had been climbing and jumping. Nothing fun enough for his taste.
1500/1500 mana, 200 restored.
~~~Sometime later...~~~ The group stood before a large clearing in the woods. Hundreds of hell hounds were gathered below them, an extra large alpha at the center. "Well, that's more than expected."
-
"Hm... Well you're lucky you have me! I give those small ones a good 10, the Alpha might be a 25..." Tyrian raised his staff in the air, the green ball on top glowing slightly. "If you can kill the Alpha and protect me, I might be able to clear this area out."
-
Artemis shrugged and walked to the very edge. "I've got this, you kill'em all after I take down the alpha...." She jumped off the ledge, falling towards the alpha.
-
Willing to comply, he shouted after her, with concern. "They won't die right away! It'll take awhile!" Being so gung-ho might get Artemis killed. Such a shame, considering that she didn't seem like a bad person.
-
Lyn sighed. "She's dead." Artemis slammed her knee into the top dog's face. This ony angered the creature as it snarled at the far smaller girl. The beast lunged forward with its jaws open to bite only for Arty to sprint towards it and slide underneath at the last second, kicking the creature in the stomach.
-
Deciding he couldn't wait any longer, considering the smaller dogs were no paying attention to Artemis, he spoke to Lyn. "I know we are up in trees, but I need you here, with me. Make sure nothing gets past." Tyrian raised his staff, and the orb glowed with a bright green light. Suddenly, hundreds of magical tendons shot out at the dogs, connecting them to the crystal.
Dog Venom Resistance: 1/10
It was soon clear that they were getting tired and exhausted, as if they had been running for days.
-
Artemis continued to punch and kick the alpha, fighting it one on one in the middle. Meanwhile; dozens of the hounds snarled up at the duo still in the tree. The dogs began attempting to run up the trunk, not making much progress at first. "Oh, fun...." Lyn sighed, pulling out her sword.
-
Sayero He whispered something, and the dogs would find themselves in excruciating pain as more of the magical venom seeped into the their blood.
Venom counter: 7/10 1400/1500 mana
It seemed that the man had a knack for taking out large groups of weaker enemies. Soon, he whispered something else under his breath, as the dogs began climbing up. His body caused an updraft of wind, blowing the robes all around for a second and dying down.
1200/1500 mana
-
The pain seemed to only make the dogs more aggressive as they quickly climbed the tree. Lyn pulled a few knives out of seemingly no where and threw them down at the hounds. "What did you do?"
-
"Nothing. Watch. Drai."
Venom counter, 10/10 Mana: 1200/1500
It was slow, but the dogs began dying in massive amounts, extremely quickly. Their bodies were growing green, bubbles of dark liquid popping off their skin, and burning the ground. "WONDERFUL, ISN'T IT, LYN?!" Tyrian threw his hands to the sides, his right still holding the staff. "THIS IS THE WORK OF TYAL!"
-
"Oh...f*ck. Well, you deserve what ever is left of them as a prize, I guess." Lyn looked impressed as she gazed back over at Artemis and the alpha. Artemis was sitting on the ground, yawning with the alpha decapitated beside her.
-
"Ah... You are right, the work of Tyal is a reward on its own..." Tyrian breathed in the now putrid smell of decomposing dogs, with a rather unsettling smile. "I can probably only bring one dog back- unless we brought a bag or something."
-
Lyn sighed and began climbing down. "We can help carry a few for you." Artemis grabbed the alpha by its limp paw and started to drag it.
-
Tyrian smiled with glee, taking two less afflicted dogs that hadn't turned into near goop by now and swinging the over his shoulders. "Their teeth and skeleton should mostly be intact- purposely left that way to allow for a good selling."
-
"Alright, well...let's get going." Lyn picks up four dogs somehow as the two girls begin to leave the area.
