Coalition Sign-Ups (Pre-emptive):
Aight guys, so this isn't official yet. Hell, I don't even have anything planned for the actual thing. I just wanna know if anyone probably wants to sign up for this New Coalition.
In case you don't know what it was, in short, the Coalition was an alliance of RP factions that acted somewhat like a militarized UN. We'd have our own internal politics, but we'd band together to face threats, and occasionally give something back to the Dojo.
Also, please give a really short summary of that faction for me to add.
Roster:
NTR (JT/Ginger)
Emergency Military Government; Large

PMC; Medium
31st Legion of Trayven (Orn)
Fantasy-Medieval Spy Networks; Medium

Edited by ookshmook: 12/5/2017 6:48:16 PMI mean, technically speaking I have a faction. The CRDS based in a singular cannabalised planet, and is mainly run by droids. At its heart it's just to research the dojo, but it also trades universe-to-universe goods for multiple reasons. Small.

Too late to throw something in there?

Nah, go ahead mate.

Oh yeah dude, no problem! Here's a faction page if you want to expand on your guys. https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Post/1677784/222042811/0/0 You can also create characters on the bio page that will be able to participate in the events of the dojo!

Edited by Ver: 12/5/2017 12:04:02 AMCool, it says in the post that I have to be tested or something??
-
*snorts*
-
Yeah, once you create your first official character you have to undergo a test against one of the senseis or testers. Basically, they test your skills in PVP general RP, giving you advice to improve and generally Making sure you're experienced for other interactions.

Finally, someone who does the summary correctly!
-
Maybe? My boy.
Think it'd be too early to bring Nokomis into this? The PMC I just made?

i would but I don't have any factions
-
I mean, technically speaking I have a faction.
-
I'd give a brief summary of the Republic, although you already know all about it lmao.
-
Too bad I killed off everyone who would have run the coldbourne corporation lmao. I guess Tesuto represents the dojo? But really anyone can represent the dojo
-
...Yeah, Lyn kinda took your thing. What exactly do they have tho?
-
Well you would have gotten all remaining assets that were left. So coldbourne castle, the city, probably a few hundred million in finances, a small army etc. Though it’s entirely up to Lyn if she wants to downsize.

Edited by Sardonyx: 11/30/2017 3:16:52 PMRubicon, PMC faction run out of Odin, a planet three times the size of earth that is full of tough peoples. The moon Freya is roughly the size of earth and is home to the PMC's R&D and military training. Rubicon focuses more on small numbers and strength, meaning highly trained operatives in fireteams of 6-10 members, using moderately high tech gear and good training At times of need, super soldiers are deployed in fire teams of 4, Valkyrie soldiers are the main benefit of the PMC, the super soldiers are highly trained, extremely well geared, and essentially mini bosses. The infantry focuses more on guerilla warfare and night tactics, navy (space) focuses on hit one run maneuvers using powerful weapons and fast frigates and corvettes. Naval ships mostly are smaller, well shielded, and armored to resist strong attacks and limp away. Armaments are powerful weapons ranging from MAC to Hydra rocket pods and torpedoes. Ground vehicles generally consist of tanks that utilize long range armaments and shielding as well as cloaking tech. Thanks to trade relations with the Trayvens, Rubicon has access to weapon negating tech, disabling most vehicles and nearly all armaments, forcing melee. With extensive modifying, Rubicon tech is equipped with strobes that negate the field, enabling them to use an unfair advantage. Overall; on ground warfare, Rubicon focuses on mostly stealth ops and locking down the enemy and then picking them off, crippling armies in shield domes and then hunting then down after. Short summary; Rubicon is a PMC faction focused on small to medium scale battles, using disabling tactics and mostly stealth operations and night operations. In larger scale, vehicles and guerilla warfare is used.
