Granted I've seen a lot of matchmaking over the years of gaming, but if it wasn't for todays challenge being crucible? I'd probably never play it again.
#1. Search solo? Get solo.
5 straight matches where 2/4 teammates quit and all the same clan tags in all 5 matches.
#2. If you decide to go with "challenges"? Make them in weekly tiers. This daily crap is not worth the issues which I see. Example? I won't play another match to get 2 heavy kills. Especially when I consistently keep finding teams of people who are smart while my teammates want to play pulse rifle versus rocket launcher.
So that's it for today. Too bad this has been a problem for a long time. You want a smart move? Go back to the original Halo 2/Reach formula and let players designate what matches they are trying to find.

So find a fireteam, problem solved... Its not hard

All you get for completing the challenge is tokens. If it isn't fun, why do it? It's not like you get anything special/unique for completing the challenge. For example, I personally HATE the strikes in D2 so I never do the strike challenge. The tokens are not worth the time it takes to complete the long ass boring strikes. Plus, none of the gear from either crucible or strikes is unique so why suffer? With that said, I agree the matchmaking is crap as nothing is considered other than the fact that someone initiated the connection. It's unfortunate, but so are SO MANY of the decisions Bungie made. Have a good day!!
