Tatakai's North Pole
8:00 PM
Santa laughed as he sipped his egg nog, watching the elves below him work tirelessly for the boys and girls around the world. Suddenly, he heard a noise behind him.
"Eh? Who's there?"
Reaching into his coat, he drew a small red and white striped dagger.
"Show yer self."
The King of Christmas would be hit with a punch to the back of the neck, then to his nose, sending him crashing to the floor.
"Big oaf. You're coming with me."
Three hours later...
The screen of the computer flickered to life, displaying Santa's beaten and bloodied form tied to a chair.
"Good evening, citizens of Tatakai. As you can see, I have ol' Saint Nick here trapped. I'm offering anyone and everyone who gets this message one chance to save this fat oaf and to save Christmas. Oh, and this."
Whoever was behind the camera slid a chest into view, shimmering gold coins spilling from its sides.
"One chance, people."
The message ended, leaving a black screen with a picture of Santa's head with a sword through it.
Garin narrowed his eyes.
"Shit."
Open to everyone. This is indeed a Christmas plot, and I intend to run it as such. Festive references, Christmas riddles, weird enemies; you get what I'm saying. Your participant had received said message. It's up to you whether to save Christmas or let it die.
