Athena would respond, perhaps with a kinder, more understanding tone, but instead brought her gaze to her Hunter, her pale face turning a deathly white color as she kept her thin hands upon the Hunter's body, allowing him to cough up the blood within. There was not anger, least not then, not sadness, not pity, just.. helplessness. As if Athena considered herself useless, in a situation where a friend was in utter agony. It was something that she couldn't stop, even if the Hunter was facing "judgement", whatever this was.
"I-I'm here.. shhh, I-I'm here."
Athena tried to calm down the Hunter, closing her eyes as she awaited his agonizing reply. She expected the worst. A begging for dеаth. Retching screams of torment. Or silence. Just.. silence. She had witnessed such things in her younger years, and she had experienced them too.
Nothing like this judgement, though. Nothing like this, where there was at least justification. No, she faced the senseless, meaningless hеlls of mankind's worst.

This would last a very long while, but he would eventually go still. He was still alive, but his breathing was heavy and erratic. He suddenly regained consciousness, and his back arched as he screamed and screamed from this fresh hell. It was at this point that Akenten turned away, her smile turning to a frown. She seemingly regretted her action. The Vampire Hunter began screaming obscenities of every language, culture, and even some that were strictly religious. Eventually, this too would stop, and he would just sit there, looking up at Athena.
