A man dressed in a black shirt and long green pants would pass her by. He struck her as the soldier type, even in her thinking. On his right shoulder the shirt had an emblem of a dog in front of a diamond that read "Diamond Dogs". He carried a side arm with him and had a box of spare gun parts with him.
His blue eyes glanced over at her, and he gave her a stiff nod. On his head was a scarce amount of sandy-colored hair, and he had a few scars on his face and neck

Rose herself typically carried a few weapons with her, a small round shield on her back, gladius in a sheath on her right thigh, a revolver in a holster over the sheath. Am elongated holster was on her lower back held a weapon, level action, what it was was hard to tell. Her body was adorned in black armor on some areas, light weight but durable, scuff marks revealing the original steep color beneath. It covered her chest, shins and knees, shoulders and forearms. For the most part she looked to be able to handle herself. Aside from the coffee she held, and the troubled look that adorned her strong face.

He stopped, concerned "Hey, lady, you okay?" He asked bluntly. Soldering didn't have much time for social interaction.
-
She nodded to him. "Yeah, fine. I'm fine." Her face was a bit sunken, as she seemed distant at the moment.
-
"I don't think you are." He muttered, then extended his hand "I'm Alex."
-
She shook it then, slowly growing more human again. "Rose."
-
"Nice to meet you. What's the long face for?" He asked
-
"Its a long story, just to keep it short. She shrugged, hating to have to talk on it.
-
"Well....it looks bad." He didn't want to mention how it looked like PTSD to him.
-
Rose shook her head then. "Just, ignore it for now. Had a memory come back to me, wasn't a pleasant one."
-
"Alright. Where're you headed then, Rose?" He asked
-
"Haven't decided yet, was just getting some coffee." She shrugged, she really hadn't decided yet.
-
"Well, I'm grabbing a bite to eat. You in?" He offered politely
-
She thought on it for a second, at the moment she wasn't hungry, more sick to her stomach than anything really. "I would, but right now, I'm not feeling great."
-
"I'm sorry." he said "Anything I can do to help?"
-
"Not that I can think of, I'll be fine on my own though." Whatever had happened to the girl, she seemed to be trying to run from it.
-
"I don't think you are." He insisted "And sometimes food does help to settle your stomach."
-
"Not hungry, thanks for the offer though." The girl stepped back then, taking a sip from her drink to avoid an awkward moment.
-
He rubbed the back of his neck, not wanting to cause a scene "Uh....look...I'm gonna be honest. You really don't look well. I understand if it seems iffy because I'm a stranger, but you don't look like you're handling it."
-
She tried not to seem hostile then, scowling a bit. "I'll be fine, just need some time to sort things out..."
-
"Ma'am...I think time doesn't have anything to do with it." He offered his hand "It would be my pleasure to help you out. You wouldn't have to re-pay me at all."
-
"I'm sorry but its have to refuse, I don't want to drag people into my life to deal with my problems." She frowned then, stepping a bit more away.
