I've run into a fair amount of people claiming to be boosted and a few claiming to be boosters. and it got me wondering if it's even allowed. And if not, should it be? Obviously there's a difference between letting your friend play for a few matchs verses paying someone to boost your account. So for this question, it's specifically about if paying for boosting is allowed or if it puts your account at risk, and if it doesn't, should it?

Edited by Hippo_Legacy: 12/7/2017 5:50:25 PMIdk how you would keep people from boosting if you're talking about people who let others play on their accounts for them. If you mean classic boosting, as in having a few friends let you continuously kill them then that's already a bannable offense for many games if you get caught. Unless your doing it to get past some bullshit grind, like the void kills requirement in vanilla Destiny, it's a chump move. You didn't earn those stats and it'll be immediately obvious to anybody you play against.
