The masts are where those circles are. There is no ballista at the bow.
GENERAL VS DALE The two fighters would spawn in the arena, opposite ends from one another. Both had lost, but both had also come back into the tourney by selection. The two would see the slot machine role, and it would land on a grand ship. As it did, the two felt the ground rock beneath them as a massive pirate ship rose up from the ground beneath them, as did the vast ocean surrounding them. The ships measurements, from what the two could see on their opposing ends(Dale being by the bow side and General being on the side of the stem) that the ship was 30ft in width and 120ft in length. Then Haakon bellowed out. “HA! NOTHING LIKE THE OPEN SEAS! Now, a duel to see which one of these swashbucklers is the best! FIGHT!”
you should know the rules by now. You got three days!
• Dale looked at his opponent to size him up. The monster of a man that General faced was three inches over six feet, and wearing bulky power like armor over himself that seemed rather thick, especially with a massive bulge on the back. At his forearms, two ornate silver guards covered the entire length, humming with power. An SMG hung at his side, and in his right hand was an axe, double bladed, thick, and with a handle too long for being one handed, too short for reliably two handing it. His voice was distorted by the armor, but the deep was behind it was evident. "Good luck, Pal. We're both losers, but I suppose that connects us in a way like no o-" Instead of finishing the sentence, he threw his axe- it came screaming through the air at incredible speeds, cutting the masts as it flew at General. Not wasting time, Dale jumped forward, and rolled backwards down the stairs to the deck below, and crashed through the door.

  • Genral side-stepped the hastily thrown axe, the metal giving a solid THUNK! as it hit the wood of the ship behind the Initiate. He continued to watch as Dale dove to the next floor, following the movement silently within his mask. Just as quietly, he began to disappear, bit-by-bit as he seemed to disintegrate into the air, the last movements even was his hand reaching up to his waist before disappearing as well, the movements intent lost to the wind.

  • Unknown to the opponent of Dale's, a brown scarf wrapped around his nose and mouth underneath the helmet. Two black dots went right over the nose. Using a small hole he had drilled in his armor, on his neck, where the armor was weaker. It was about one centimeter in width and height, a very small hole. Dale breathed in, specifically looking for the increased bursts of CO2, the orders of sweat and skin. He would be able to "see" General, even under the cover of the invisibility. Keeping his eye sharp and nose sharper, he readied the SMG in his hand as he scanned for General. No smell escaped the scarf.

  • But for a smell to be caught by the scarf, it must first exist. The camo Genral's armor used was no play of chameleon or blending in, but more an integration, taking all data fed through the sensory mesh lining the top layer of his armor and compiling it as information to be fed to the camo-generator, and reflected out, his body-suit, excepting the helmet, vented by the extremely breathable substance. And so, Genral was ghost, and Dale could find nothing but the salt of the ocean op and the mold of wood to smell, with the inside of the ship and the sky above to see.

  • However, Lucky for Dale, the ship was made of wood. Steps would make sound, stairs would creek under the wind... And there was only one entrance. He decided to switch his smelling sense to that of the sea air, capable of finding where it was not, and not just where it was. Readying his SMG, Dale began searching, his somewhat heavy foot steps echoing on the empty deck below.

  • The sharp creak of wood was the only indicator as the invisible Initiate jumped, firing three rounds into the wooden floorboards, the thing blasting apart in a mass of splintery wooden shrapnel. As he'd jumped, it would be difficult if not impossible to know when he'd fall through, so Dale might have to solely rely on his hearing.

  • Instead of relying on his hearing (though he did listen mind you) Dale fired his SMG at the hole, starting from the ground and making his way up to the top. Deciding that now was a perfect time, he went with the smell of smoke- gunpowder from his opponent's gun, and turned in that direction to let loose a hail of bullets.

  • An impact of man on wood sounds, but the SMG shots never landed, which was curious until the sound of metal sliding on metal came down to Dale from above, and then again as Genral slid another magazine into the handgun, reloading it. The man had deactivated his invisibility cloak, having reached the conclusion that it was doing nothing at the present moment. Pacing over to the right of the newly made hole in the ship, at the corner and thus still hidden from Dale's sight, the Initiate broke into a sprint suddenly. Launching himself thought the hole diagonally in a dolphin dive, he landed with a somersault, rolling behind one of the cannons for cover.

  • As soon as General landed and rolled into the cover, Dale dashed forward. Instead of going around the cover he went into it. He pushed the cannon with one hand and so much force it tore through the wood that kept it in place and would smack into the cannon next to it with surprising speed. It would attempt to crush General between the cannons, or it would hit him and cause major damage.

  • Genral couldn't see the man from behind his cover, and so was caught in surprise when the cannon was shoved. Luckily, the weapons were drawn out, barrels sticking out of the side despite a lack of enemy ships to fire at, evidently meant for aesthetic. As such, the barrel caught on its opening, causing the push to move the thing in an arc toward the wall rather than the other cannon. It still hut though, when the Initiate was launched into the cannon opposite him on a tangent line to the arc of the shoved cover. Flipping over it, he rolled to one knee, pivoting and loosing three shots at Dale's head. The recoil caused him to grunt, and he suspected he'd either bruised, sprained, or broke a rib in the collision.

  • Dale turned his side to the gun when Genral fired, as well as throwing his arms up. The bullets would hit once in the head- where a spark occurred, and an explosion? Racked the air. Luckily for Dale, his armor was designed to withstand heat- and his skin and bones to withstand force itself. The first shot pushed his head back, the others colliding into his back with the same effect, exploding and knocking him back a little. He quickly spun behind the cannon opposite of the one he pushed and reloaded his gun. He was dazed, but far from injured. His armor near the head and right arm was significantly weaker after the explosions so he'd have to be careful. He sniffed once more to find where Genral was- to prepare for the next attack.

  • Genral had done something curious. Slowly, quietly, and out of the sight of Dale due to the cannon providing cover, he unslung his rifle and laid it on the floor. Then, he laid himself down quietly as possible, and, through the space between the floor and the cannon base which was raised by wheels, he saw Dale's feet. Firing four shots with the handgun, he meant to knock Dale to the floor, waiting a second before preemptively firing eight APR shots at where he thought his opponent's chest would land if the explosive rounds landed, knocking him to the floor.

The rounds would hit Dale's feet to little use. Instead of falling over, he staggered, and pushed himself into the cannon. Using the force, he sent it rolling towards Genral, tearing up the wood on the side of the ship, until it would smack him in the face for what might be a kill. The other rounds Genral fired entered hit Dale's armor and near his foot, (I assume APR meant armor piercing? ) and would stun him for a moment in place, as he kneeled down with his SMG, aiming at the side of the cannon where the wall wasn't, and let loose a burst of rounds.

  • With his hands occupied on the guns, and legs unable to do much of anything to aid him, Genral was left with little choice but to utter a final prayer as the cannons collided, crushing him between them. Dale had won out, playing it safer and being far less foolhardy in his maneuvers.
Win this for me, mang.
