I've run into a fair amount of people claiming to be boosted and a few claiming to be boosters. and it got me wondering if it's even allowed. And if not, should it be? Obviously there's a difference between letting your friend play for a few matchs verses paying someone to boost your account. So for this question, it's specifically about if paying for boosting is allowed or if it puts your account at risk, and if it doesn't, should it?

I used to boost in MW2 when I was younger. I also used to be excited to cheat or hack games. However as I grew up and matured I realized it takes away from the fun factor of games. It also takes away your sense of accomplishment. Those who partake in boosting are hurting themselves. I never see people boost anymore though, it's still a thing?
