"Honestly I don't give a shit who she sleeps with, just the frequency of it. Biologically I should expect it of 'er, I was worse at her age, though she just does it so damn much."
JT was starting to get rather... Uncomfortable. Talking about his daughter and her séx life was just an unappealing topic for him, in all honesty.
"Anyways, what're yer kids like? And I'll bring Nat."

"Mm. Ari's basically Nat, except I'd expect Arianna to be on the more hostile end. Plus she's.. already worse than me, on that topic. I never got into romance and shit until roughly a year ago. Panta's real happy and shy. Teenage girl, fifteen, acts like a five-year old. Arianna found her and took care of her for a few nights, I took her in then. Mion's.. unique, I guess. Twelve, but she acts like a fuсking scientist. Still a great, quiet little kiddo, but she's already a bit of a realist. All girls.. and Ari's a clone. One of the few thousand that the pink alien has, because God forbid that this place ever sees the last of me." The last line was eerily sarcastic, as if Irina found her presence on Tatakai a pretty bad thing, and many would agree: she was a murderer, an enemy of the Dojo turned ally, and another constant reminder that the Dojo had taken in yet another monster behind it's walls, at least before she took out to a remote place nearby Dojoville. Soon, drinks would be served, alongside menus. JT would notice a few "couple options" - meals for two, with a significant discount available.
-
JT was never a stingy person who went for discounts - When money is no issue, you tend to go for the most expensive things in life. At least, if you're the cowboy. "Any ideas on what ya would like?"
-
"...The couple things sound okay. Steak and such, always ran with a more carnivorous diet. If we're.. y'know, couple material."
-
I'd say we are, yeah?"
-
"Hey, just checking sweetie." Irina smiled a little, as the waiter would then leave to depart the order upon the chefs in the kitchen. "So.. what is Christmas, anyway?"
-
"You want a religious version or a normal version? Because one is about a baby, and the other is an excuse to feel like shit with a glass of eggnog while yer drunk aunt Karen is gettin' hammered on red wine."
-
"I don't have an aunt named Karen." Irina would jest, in an obvious, exaggerated tone. "Though.. I guess the second version works out. Religion's not exactly been a big part of my life, though I wouldn't say that it's too late to at least bother with it."
-
"Yeah, you got yer whole life ahead of ya to pick a god, if ya choose to."
-
"Mm. So this Christmas shit - give me the basic gist of it. It's a holiday, right?"
-
"Yeah, biggest of the year in most places. Back home on Felghast, the typical Christmas had someone throwing a small party - Not the kind where y'get hammered and find someone to hammer, more like where y'go and hang around. You give gifts, and if it's the 26th, everyone opens 'em. Different traditions do it differently but usually you'd end the night with a nice meal for everybody."
-
"Getting hammered in two different ways, huh.. I'm too much of an introvert, the first has always been with another person or just myself when the kids aren't home. But the second.. I think I could find a special someone for that. But.. I like the sound of it. It sounds like a time of the year where you can just settle down, look back at the past year, and.. be happy." At the thought of it, Irina would then smile, just a little. Before then taking quite a gulp from her wine, nodding a little yet.
-
"That's exactly what it is, yeah. It's been commercialized to high hell, but it's still a novelty concept. One that people need to focus on more to keep it from being so novelty."
-
Irina would be silent, for a few seconds, though it seemed as if she was deeply considering the holiday. She would nod then, sighing a little. "Maybe it would end out alright. The Christmas thing, I mean - assuming I don't fuсk up, and that Ari doesn't fuсk up either. But I think it'll be alright, first time celebrating this anyway."
-
"I'm sure neither of y'all will -blam!- up, that's my job," JT said with a sarcastic tone and a chuckle that joined it.
-
"The last thing that I even went to that was comparable to a party.. I got drunk as hell, fuсked Athena.. seems like the usual for me, but it's not. Things didn't necessarily work out for us." It wasn't that Irina was unfaithful - well, she was, but.. Athena had seemingly disappeared, then reappeared again, only to disappear once more. "Though I'll come around. Straighten Ari out so she doesn't end up prеgnant or drunk as hell, bring Panta so she can chill out.. it should be alright."
-
"Yeah, I'm sure th' kids will be alright to hang out for a little bit. If not, I have a theoretical degree in biology and enough booze to wash away a bad memory."
-
"Heh. We'll have to see how much booze can wash away the memories of Yharnam in general." Irina would jest, while she was far from serious - to lose memory was to lose pieces of yourself. Physicality falling apart was already bad, but one's mental structure being degenerated was one thing that Irina actually had a distaste for.
-
JT would have agreed fully at that sentiment, if he had known; Memories shape you, they provide insight and clarity on you, and they are something to learn from. In the end, you are always alone with your actions, and JT may regret a great many things in his life, but he would never hope to forget them. "Right. I'm gonna guess yer a red wine girl? Pretty lasses like yerself usually are."
-
"Practically grew up on the stuff.. other things are alright, but I'm used to wines more than any other drink." Irina would smile a little, as her eyes would flicker over at JT. There was something within them - not necessarily a drunken haze, but something sparked a little. "What about you? Figured you'd be the whiskey type."
-
"Ring-a-ding-ding. Tried a lot of other stuff, but whiskey's got a certain burn to it."
-
"I should try it, sometime. You think that we could.. y'know, order a few glasses of it? Guess it'll be my first time, but.."
-
"Glasses? Order a few bottles, takes me a lot to feel a buzz."
-
"Ha, sure." Irina laughed a little, as soon enough, some whiskey bottles would be brought to their table, roughly four in general. The waitress seemed puzzled by two people attempting to handle so much alcohol. "-Alright. Lady's first to drink, I assume?"
-
"Aye. Normally I'd chug one, but I gotta see your face with these."
-
"Fine, fine." Irina would laugh a little, pouring out a glass of the stuff before then taking a drink. Her face would scrounge up a little, as she looked over at JT as if he was crazy. "...Christ, this is.. something."
